Course in Great Shape!
Tee boxes could have been better and a little more flat instead of being like a pitchers mound Fairways were perfect but once you got to the green, there were places very visible that looked like dry patches. Also a lot of unfixed divots on greens which was irritating. Overall, I’d still come back to play but maybe in a month!
El Conquistador golf course
First time playing this course. Really enjoyed it. Course was in great shape. Round moved along and finished in 4:20. Staff was friendly and organized. Would definitely recommend this course
Poor conditions
Bunkers are in bad shape. No sand and weeds growing up around the bunker. Pace of play was really slow. Two holes were open in front of the slow group in front of us. Some fairways looked dead. Poor condition overall. My second and last time playing it.
The best place to play, in Oro Valley, for the money
Courses are in great Troon managed shape. Price was great. Former Country Club courses play great. Not crowded. Played in 3 hours. Great.
Pleasantly surprised
I have played this course in previous summers, but this was the first time this year, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it is being maintained. The greens were good and the fairways and tee boxes were decent, especially when considering the hot Tucson weather and the toll it takes on golf courses. The bunkers have also been improved. Kudos to the maintenance staff. I will not hesitate to play it again.
Dog Leg Right !
Over all the course was in great shape. The fairways and also the greens were well groomed. The greens were soft enough too get the ball to stick as well as get back spin on the ball. The only complaint which is a minor one was there was no starter outside to show or tell us which course was which and that we could tee-off, seeing this was are first time at this Golf Course. If a golfer with a slice will Love this course or some like myself who can bring that element into my game once in awhile makes it fun. It's a course I would definitely play again and love too try and play the other course as well, wondering if that course is Dog Leg Left !
