Highlands Reserve Golf Club

First time playing here. Was very impressed. No water and the greens were slower than others in the area, but they rolled true. Great views around the course, practice facilities are good and the staff was great. Will play again for sure.

Good course great value, friendly service, outstanding pace of play! Played 5 rounds all in less than 4hours!

Our group will be back again next year!

Great course well laid out. Great staff all friendly. Starter funny guy. Pace was great. Didn’t wait at all. 4 hour round. Would highly recommend this course to everyone. A little expensive on club rentals $45 for a set of Wilson clubs. Tees were in bag had to buy balls. Had great weeniest though.

The staff at the golf course was fantastic. When we arrived we were greeted by Drew who is very happy to help us with all our clubs and get us pointed in the right direction. We then met Bob the starter, who gave us some great Golf Course advice, and when the round was over, Tom was waiting for us to get our carts. It is really clear how proud all of the staff are of the improvements to this golf course.

And improved it it was a really fun track to play and I would highly recommend it

I was fortunate enough to get a hot deal tee time for Highlands Reserve. Great course for the value and would have been satisfied with a full price round. The course was in great shape and offered a good challenge. While most of the holes are right in front of you, the greens and pin placements brought some difficulty into to play. Enjoyed playing with a few Canadian snowbirds as well.

Good golfing at fair price. Took us 3 hours 45 minutes playing this course. Great pace!

So I love playing here when I’m down in the area from Jan-May. Clubhouse staff is great, cart people are great, the course is in pretty good shape, with a few minor issues.

But I gotta ask, why in the world do you have the grumpiest and unfriendly Starter their is? He’s rude, incompetent, and not the face of the business I would have if this was my business. Even the cart guy said “check in with Grumpy 10 minutes before tee time.” Don’t get it. I’ve been playing 60 years and never encounter this and he’s always the same.

I guess you’re ok with it but I’ve heard other golfers state he’s a reason they won’t return. If he yells at me again I’ll be among those not returning.

Relative to other courses around, pricing was fair for spring break. Course conditions were good, greens a bit slower than what I’m used to. Didn’t see bare spots anywhere, course is getting love. No water comes in a play, overall a forgiving layout and a moderate challenge . Rangers were monitoring pace of play with technology. Foursome played 18 on a Friday morning and after the first two holes never waited. That was mazing!

Excellent public course. Great for the money! Open layout makes for a fun round. Only you have to play a little faster than I normally like. 4 hours is pretty quick compared to what I’m used to.

The course is in excellent conditions and very good value for the money.
