Highlands Reserve Golf Club

Course is coming along nicely. Much improved from last year but still got a ways to go.

Played at 4pm had to do front 9 twice because of backups on back 9.

5 players on a foursome is not under golf standards!

It slows the pace and it is not acceptable!

Started 15 minutes late. Got worse from there. They need to spread out the teetimes. Seems like a common issue talking with other players.

The greens are in good shape. Just a little slow for my liking but not complaining . Tee boxes and fairways in good shape . Sand in buckets was good to hit out of . For a Florida course it had a couple elevated tee boxes.

Great transition from hole to hole.

Tee boxes and greens are in amazing shape .

The course sets up for all types of skill levels .

Can’t wait to tee up at this hidden gem again.

Course was decent. While I understand destination golf can be costly, this course should be nowhere near $100+ for round. This is a $50 course at best. Extremely dry conditions. Greens were some of the slowest I’ve seen. More water and rolling of greens could make this club a much better club for the price.

We played the course on Saturday morning and pace of play was excelent. The course is average at the most and for 99 dollars plus tax is overpriced. You can find better value in 20 miles range.

It’s a solid course but it’s too bad that golf as a whole has gone stupid with pricing. This is a value at $60–thats $15-$20 more than I had to pay pre-pandemic. Even with inflation, not even close to a $100 course. Greens good, pretty grainy. Fairways, are decent but not thick. Tee boxes???.. don’t start me on that. I’m from the north and we just don’t see with the regularity I do down here the amount of uneven, mainly dirt boxes. People nice, course run efficiently. In today”s market, a $69 course plus the taxes. $100+????? Ah, pass, thank-you.

I usually play this course when in the Orlando area. Course is in decent shape and not a lot of trouble areas but still need to hit it straight.

Great course, layout was nice and very friendly staff. Greens were a little slow compared to average but rolled true and nice layout.

Pace of play was very good and I highly recommend this course.

I'll keep this simple. This is a great course at $60 winter rates. The problem is that their rate is now $99, and they have priced many golfers out of the opportunity to play it.

I suppose they are going after tourists, but I won't be back since there are similar courses at better fees.
