Highlands Reserve Golf Club

A bit over priced but for the area it’s decent. Nice layout. Great greens and the course was pretty wide open. Some nice elevated tee boxes.

A quite forgiving course. Fun to play especially for high handicaps. Greens rolled true with some quite challenging pin placements.

Tee boxes and fairways were reasonable. Rough was still pretty brown

Firstly, HR have the most friendly and attentive staff I have ever encountered. Unfortunately, the pace of play was unbearable having to wait on every shot accept the first, which forced me to quit after 9 holes. The course was packed with golfers everywhere. The course conditions were fair, greens a tad grainy and slow. Will likely return maybe during a week day and take advantage of the $79 green fee promotion through 3/31/24.

I always play one or two rounds here as I like this course, I simply found the price a tad high for the quality as I was able to play this course usually for half of what I paid and i do not think there is value at $99. That said prices were up everywhere and soon golf will be priced out of range as a sport. Conditions were good and greens were consistent, a bit slow, but consistent.

If you are a mid to high handicap, this may be the course for you. Wide fairways, and no water to speak of. Maybe a little overpriced, but a fairly nice course.

We had 3 players, with handicaps between 20 and 35. The course was challenging enough, but not too difficult. Lots of bunkers, but no water hazards. Wide fairways. Greens were very tricky, difficult for all 3 of us to read..

We enjoyed the round immensely.

Slow pace of play, but it was a Saturday. Course is in fairly good shape for February.

Pro Shop staff/Starter very friendly.

The rough was unkempt and greens were fine but slow.

Always had 2 to 3 groups on every hole, so slow going.

Needs work , saw no ranger entire round, people must know it because hitting multiple balls seemed frequent.

Disappointed 😞

This is the first time playing Highlands Reserve. We played 18 yesterday and the course was in great shape. Pace of play was very reasonable based on how busy it was. Will definitely be back!

We’re from CT and this was our first round of the year.

The greens were very good but the fairways were tight compared to NewEnglanfgtass

I’ve been playing here over the last three years and have seen vast improvement In particular this year.

Greens are nice. Very playable course and the fairways had a little better grass than other courses we have played in this area.
