Highlands Reserve Golf Club

The course was nice for a last minute pick. The price was reasonable and the couple we were paired with were very nice.

You can't go wrong playing here. Course is always in good shape from tee to green. Played at 2:00 and barely got it in before dark.

Nice course, slightly expensive compared to other similar courses but very nice.

Also when renting clubs balls should be provided in the price even if a single sleeve.

We played this course twice in January , 2024. On the 11th and the 31st. We would provide the same review in each case.

This experience has to be one of the best ever in Florida. We have been coming now for seven years, usually from early January to mid February.

It began with starter Bob, who put us out early ahead of a men’s group of 64 players. I think we were off about 20 minutes early, around 7:30 am.. We are fast players , so the Player Pace unit is ideal. It is also a big benefit to the rangers. They do not have to fear confrontation from a slow group. They look for the colour and that’s it. We also saw them several times, and we love that also. We played in about 3 hours ,41 minutes. Bob, in a word , awesome.

The Pro Shop , fantastic. Very friendly. Felt welcome. Better than valued customers, felt like we were friends with the staff.

Now the best part.

I can not believe the condition transformation of this course from a few years ago. I told every staff member I saw. The tees are well cared for and beautifully over seeded. Fairways very good. Sand boxes on carts, filled, with trowels.👍

Greens and green complexes, SUPERB. Best surfaces we have played on. Whatever grass you planted, it was worth it.

This is a very interesting course, there are some elevation changes, no water (which is a welcome change from most of the courses in the area). Great value, course was in very good condition and the greens were superb. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well worth a visit.

Course was in good condition, a little dry and firm. Greens are challenging, lots of subtle movement. Overall a great layout, and very personable staff. Marshal kept things moving, played in under 4 hours. Will be back several times.

The price for a course that looked like a municipal coarse.

Two holes the sprinklers were on to the point we couldn't finish holes. Disappointed
