Highlands Reserve Golf Club

We were staying in the Kissimmee area and was reading reviews on Golf Now to find a course to play. Read the reviews on the Highlands Reserve and it lived up to the great reviews. The greens were awesome. Rolled smooth and in excellent shape. A great layout that is challenging and enjoyable. The entire course is in great shape. One thing I really liked is the rough is maintained. If you hit the rough you can find your ball which helps with the flow of play. We played the course in four hours. The staff was very friendly in the Proshop, the starter and the carts. I highly recommend this course and hope to play it again.

Nice course in good condition. Just let down by the new greens. They were like playing on astroturf. Super slow and unpredictable. I guess given time to bed in they will improve a lot.

Course was in very good shape, my only complaint is that it was a bit boring. Great course for beginners

I truly enjoyed my round here. I was paired with 3 guys who lived nearby and they helped with shot selection . Staff was awesome . Shot the round with same ball and tee, ended with an 85, which is good for me.

I thought the course was in good shape. There were a few challenging holes and some with pretty interesting elevation changes. Would definitely recommend.

A great value! Staff was very friendly and starter made us feel welcome. Course is in great shape, new zoysia greens don’t have a single imperfection in them! Fairways and rest of the course might be the healthiest I’ve seen for any course during the hot summer months; kudos to the super and their team. Will definitely be back!

It’s a real shame that this course is so poorly managed and run. The layout and conditions are great, as long as you like putting on carpet. Slowest greens I’ve ever played on. The starter was very rude, yelled regularly at the golfers, and acted like he couldn’t be bothered to do his job. The ranger was non existent. The ladies in the pro shop were very nice and welcoming though.

In summary, like the course, hate how it’s run. Probably won’t be back

Good day. One important suggestion 6300 yards tee box. Course scenic and inviting holes. Unicorn 3 hour round with 4 goofers. Don't usually give good reviews on nice tracks because I don't want them to be to busy for me. Live Tampa. Hi Shirley.

It doesn’t get any better than the Legends. Course was in great shape, especially the greens. Good crowd and super friendly staff. I can’t wait to play again soon.

I have to say for the price of admission this course was in very good condition , I was surprised to say the least . Staff is friendly with no frills . I did have to skip one hole dude to a two some that had zero golf etiquette that I watched take 18 minutes to make it to the midway point of a par 5 but I didn’t let that get me down had a great round played fast after said group and really enjoyed my round I will return

I used to play HR regularly and they course seemed to go down hill for a number of reasons...weather etc. I played yesterday and it is a different place! The fairways were back and lush...the rough was actually rough and the greens were unbelievable! Some of the greens were reworked to be fair where in the past they were crazy. I would recommend you go play it and se for yourself. It's a real golf course again.

Great experience hard to beat this for the price! Course was nice green slow but true! Staff super friendly and accommodating! We will be back

After the round, the only memorable thing was the poor first impression I got from the very first person I encountered.

I was playing as a single. My tee time was 8:36. I arrived about 8:05. As I walked up, a gentleman asked if I was Cipolla. I said I was. He then said your with these guys. I then asked if I could get my own cart. His reply was “ We have over 100 people today can’t do it” I asked if I could go inside and ask. He seemed even more frustrated with me and told me 3 guys were waiting for me.

When I asked the young lady inside, she was more then willing to accommodate me, and acknowledged how unpleasant the man outside was. She acted like it’s an every day thing.

After playing a couple holes, I found out the group I was playing with was the 8:12 tee time. I was pushed out on the course with no time to prepare AND 20 minutes early. Took 3-4 holes to feel good.

Again, I don’t remember the course, and I played it yesterday. Nothing memorable. Houses everywhere. Greens fulll but slow. I’m on vacation and I got my logo ball. Good luck to HR.

They have done a great job getting the course back in shape. Fairways had grass again and greens are great . They are slow but

Good. Tee boxes need work but it was fun to play . Will play it again soon !
