Heritage Harbor

Everything was good. Greens in great shape. Staff very friendly. Great value for money paid on Tee Off.

Heritage Harbor might be one of the least expensive courses in the greater Tampa area and I have to say, you wouldn’t know judging by the conditions and overall experience we just had in February 2024.

The driving range is all water which is fun but it can make dialing in yardages a bit challenging. Either way, the grass was in great shape in addition to chipping and putting green.

The course itself was a fun layout, not too difficult but a little quirky in some areas. Plenty of variety though to keep it interesting. The tees and greens were all in fantastic shape. The fairways were a little thin but that didn’t make a huge difference for our round. The gentleman in the shop said that the greens and tees can use reclaimed water from the ponds on the range and course which is why they’re in such good shape. The fairways are not approved to use reclaimed water which is why they aren’t as good. (Hopefully I remembered all that correctly?)

Anyways, pace was great, and we had a good time. I will say for $20, the rentals were cheapest around but they were mostly mix and match sets. One set of irons we had were Ping Eyes (released 1980?) all the way up to our newest club which was a Callaway Rogue driver (2017?). Again, didn’t deter our round but in case you are wondering what you’re renting here.

Overall, this place is a steal of a price and greens that would beat or at least match almost any course in the area.

Fairways we're rough but I get it's the time of year pace of play was slow . people working there were great starter joe was the best

This was the best course my two friends from Scotland and I have played! Best greens, best fairways, best layout and best staff.

the pace of play was great. the course was in good shape, a couple of bear spots on some holes, that's when we play winter rules & move the ball to grass, would play here again.

The fairways are in terrible shape.

There is lot of exposed dirt and if the green grass areas are terrible.

Our foursome of 2 couples had an enjoyable round of golf until the last hole. The hazard before the green on the 18th is a bad joke for any golfer wishing a happy ending to an otherwise excellent day.

Played with nice retirees from Kansas City, course in nice shape, not too crowded, nice course to walk, ponds low from lack of rain. Nuce layout, variety of holes and lengths. Will play again when price is less than $30.

They really need a Marshall!!! There were two groups of four and 3 twosomes behind them beginning at hole 4.

There were NO MANNERS/Common course courtesies shown, whatsoever, by the golfers. The foursomes took their sweet time and NEVER offered the twosomes to play through, even when we were sitting waiting at the tee box behind them.

Love the course but please spend a few dollars and have someone check pace of play, at least once an hour!
