About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Good value for high season
The course was in good condition throughout and priced right for this time of year. The group of men behind us were playing from the reds, so it felt rushed a few times (especially on the shorter holes).
The only true disappointment was the women's clubs I rented. I didn't expect a premium set, but it was a older mix of clubs that hadn't even been cleaned since the previous use.
Needs help
Fairway grass is nonexistent. Greens are beat up no one can be bothered to fix a ball mark. The parking brake did not work. Condition overall was not good. Unfortunately it's not unusual for this part of Floriduh
Greens Pretty Good Not Much Else Good
Greens were very good, maybe only minor criticism is they were a little slow. Beyond the greens, everywhere else could use some attention. Biggest problem was overgrown swampy areas that obscured the target lines on many holes. If I didn’t have a yardage book, I would have no idea where to hit my shots. I believe that uncertainty in direction of some holes led to pace of play issues.
I would play again
The course was in ok shape but the greens were very good. Course plays nice and easy. We had a very slow group in front of us but that’s not the courses fault. Some people just don’t really care if they are holding everyone else up. The staff was very nice and having a cart girl is always a plus to have a cold beverage brought to you is nice. I will play here again if I’m in the area.
