Unfortunate circumstances lead to poor experience
Course has a long way back to recover from Hurricane damage. booked an early time and we were sent out in the dark an told to drop our tee shots until we could see. we played a fast front 9 and caught the 9 hole players on the 12th hole that were let out in front of us and added 45 minutes to the back 9 over our front. The patrons were nice and were used to the experience of being stuck.
The course has a great layout and hopefully will shine again once it comes back. until then. consider other options imho.
Conditions
Challenging course with several doglegs with plenty of sand traps and water, however the greens were quite thin and the traps not maintained. I was surprised not many trap rakes and no ball washers. Nice restrooms on both nines and a cart girl for beverages.
Double booked
We were 24 minutes late on tee times because said golf now pushed our tee times and even though we had a 10:52 am tee time , it was 11:18 am before we teed off. The staff was like just deal with it.
It took 5.5 hours to play the round, and we were waiting every hole on the tee box with the group in front of us.
The course is no where near a 75 dollar per round golf course, its more like a 35 dollar per round course.
Never going back!!
Will Be Back
Enjoyed our round. Nice layout. Green true. Staff friendly. Pace good.
1st thing I left sub zero temps in Cleveland
Any course at this point is great
Pace of play on front nine was horrendous
Back nine moved much quicker as people left in front of us.
Locals complained a it about tight lilies but I loved them
Greens were fast and fair
Cypress Creek Review
This course was average at best. Greens were good. No one at the bag drop to assist. The golf cart was filthy and the break kept catching even when just slowing down. Literally 4 pieces of ladies clothing in the pro shop, but many many choices for the men. We had to wait on most every hole. We were matched up with two cool guys so that was fun.
In general, not great. Not likely to return.
Surprise Find
First time here. Nice layout. Carts newer but GPS located low so they were difficult to see. No big deal but a note. Nice layout. Plenty of water to make you concentrate in your drives , fairway woods and irons. Small greens. Ran true. Will be back.
Fun in Florida
Course has a good layout and if you can hit a straight drive you can put up a low score. The raccoons were a bit of a challenge. Driving range was worn out but useable. A couple of tee boxes were worn but fairways were good and greens were fast but rolled true. I enjoyed the round.
