The Golf Club of Cypress Creek

Last time I played there it must have been different management. They were sort of rude before but very nice now from ProShop to Cart Staff to Drink Girl on the course. We used Golf Now and we teed off write on time. The course and greens were good but the traps need work but were told this when we checked in. Also maybe a ranger on course as we had a group jump on 10 after the turn and we just passed them and went to eleven. The course is much better than it was several years ago, the last time I played. definitely going in right direction. Did not go into clubhouse or bar. A challenging course at a good price with friendly staff.

This course is extremely overpriced and overrated, no one should be here until the owners decide to spend some money on taking care of the course. Just like their other courses in town they just want to churn golfers through and don’t care about actually providing a good product. I wish people would stop going, but their location is good enough to people just keep coming back.

We played early in the morning, greens have not been cut in and weeds all around the edges. Fairways had not been mowed anytime recently and the rough was extremely long, to the point you could barely hit the ball out, or even find it.

WON’T EVER GO BACK!

This is an iron off the tee, challenging layout. #10 AND 11, I hit 7 iron off the tee on par 4s! I only hit driver twice all day and neither time was really necessary. Good layout for once in a while but wouldn't play there regularly. Staff were nice.

This was an average course, in average condition for an average price. The staff was nice. I played as a single and jumped around holes to get by groups that would not let me play through. I was able to play 18 in 2.5 hrs.

I would play this course again.

Great course to play for the price. Course was in great shape for it to midsummer in Florida. It has a lot water hazards and not many straight holes which makes it a little bit more challenging than some of the courses in the area.

Over the last 3+ years it has taken a significant step backwards. Conditions are not what they used to be. Pace of play is bad. There was NO water available on the course on a day where the “feels like” temperature was 108 degrees (bar area also closed and water fountain inside does not work). I hope the course can return to what it was but unfortunately I think the course has changed it’s persona from a small well kept gem to a fill the tee sheet and not put money back into the course itself type club.

Staff is always great! Green have small holes, no topdress- so be aware of that. Fairways are in good shape I thought.

The course isn’t easy- the middle holes on the back nine are no joke- we call it the devil’s armpit.

Good value

Greens were punched and extremely slow. Pace of play not enforced. Layout was ok and some holes were challenging. If you are a digit, play the tips. Otherwise skip.

According to the Carl's GPS, we were 9 minutes ahead of schedule on the 8th hole. We ended 78 minutes behind schedule. It was way too slow to enjoy. And without a range in sight.

Ladies tees are reasonably placed, yet still challenging. Be aware there is no drinking water available on the course!

Overall conditions were good, do need to roll the greens (inconsistent) and work on the traps. Challenging layout with multiple options for playing several holes (risk/reward). Enjoy playing this course and recommend it to others.

Nice layout and pretty good condition. Greens need to be groomed, just 1 bad one on the back and traps need work (avoided them 👍). Would recommend this course,
