Serenoa Golf Club

Teed off at 2:38 - front 9 very slow (took 2 hrs 20 minutes). When 2 slow poke foursomes in front of us stopped after 9 we played back 9 in 1 hr 40 minutes. Greens were nice but Tee boxes and most fairways were kinda rough. Paid about $40 to ride 18 thru GolfNow which was a good value. They just needed someone to quicken up slow pojes!

Terrible pace of play and terrible condition of course

Staff in pro shop and bag drop very efficient and friendly. Free beer from the great cart woman a big plus. Course layout good and lots of nice water views. Only negative is pace of play, they need a marshal to keep things moving.

Nice benefits with drink and sandwich included with our round. Plenty of wildlife, we’ll cared for greens and tee boxes. Putting green and driving range privileges included. Good time had by all.

Have played here several times and enjoy the layout here. Great friendly staff every time.

Place was overbooked as pace of play was too difficult to finish the round. Greens are lush but way too slow.

Great value for the money if you can tolerate the slow play.

I have played this course a few times over the last number of years and think it’s in the best shape I have seen it in,the staff was friendly and for the price we paid was well worth it

Good layout . Very wet poor drainage? Bunker sand very hard. Greens OK. Needs lots of TLC!!

The course was probably very nice at one time but has simply not been well taken care of. The greens are very, very slow and many have weeds sporadically. None of the pins actually stand up straight, as the cups are old and worn out. There are many spots where the grass is dead on the course. The layout is actually pretty solid but the conditions are so weak that is is hard to really assess. The price is fair however, given the conditions.

Serenoa is a nice course when the pace of play is monitored. I think the course would benefit from pairing up twosomes rather than sending out a slow foursome followed by three twosomes and a single player. There was no starter, only the ranger who tried to make the pairings , but without success. The course is in decent shape. Tees are a bit rough, but fairways are good. Some wet spots, which always seem to be wet, suggesting drainage issues. Greens are playable, but not great. Overall, it’s a good value, especially if you add the $6 lunch or breakfast.

we have not played Serenoa for a long time and are now

positively surprised about the course and also for the

lunch and beer thrown in. It will be difficult to find better

value for money.

Decent layout but too many cabbage patches on very slow greens, little untidy....Could make it look a lot better with some attention to detail..

Wonderful day at Serenoa ... Was running late but starter allowed me to go out alone as planned. Very clean, well kept. Greens had some weed but all around GREAT ... Booking on GN was extremely beneficial as well ... SMS

I played serenoa golf course probably 30 times and I enjoyed every round but on November 4th they charged us $48 width no notification of an increase on November 3 $48 as a Canadian that's $59 with the exchange I showed them on the internet that it was advertised as $38 as a loyalty member as much as I like serenoa and being close to where I stay in Florida I will never play there again they told me if I come back they would help me with the next tee time which I believe is a big cop out this is not a 4 start this is a 1 and 1/2 * golf course as much as I hate to say it Cindy and Kevin have been great to me in the past I rather drive further and have a better golf course with the right price and play serenoa again I know I'm only one person and when I was there the parking lot was full of cars so I'm sure my review means nothing I really hate to write this review over the past years of playing there why would I pay you $48 when I can play a four to five star golf course for the same again I apologize for the bad review but what it is it is and to ask me to come back to help me in the next tee time doesn't work for me to be associated with Legacy at Lakewood Ranch is disgusting I wish things would change in the future Herman Franch 416 985 9168 maybe I'm just a complainer but play and tell me I'm wrong

Course was being over seeded, but still play in 4 hrs. I play this course often. Greens held fine. Fairways were just a tad long due to over seeding. Greens in great shape. I play all winter here and will do it again when back in Jan

This course is in a bad shape. The fairways and the greens need much more attention. The worst course I played in this Region!
