Very Good Course Conditions
Booked mid-week, mid-day round as a single expecting to be put with a threesome. Arrived half hour early and was told that if I wanted to go out by myself (and forego hitting range balls) I’d ‘have the course to myself’. Played in less than three hours, even though I hit a couple of balls on a few holes and hunted for balls in a couple of ponds. Greens, fairways and tees were all in very good shape. Although greens were a bit slow, they did roll true and held even long iron shots. Mike in clubhouse checked me in and could not have been friendlier and accommodating. I highly recommend this course snd look forward to returning soon.
Nice experience but not as good as…
Played Misty Creek the day before and like that one better. Of course they’re differently priced…
Still a very enjoyable experience. Staff were great.
Lots of Water !
The staff accommodated a schedule conflict after I made the tee time. The course is nice and in good shape but has water on just about every hole.
Good course, challenging layout
If you’re looking for good value and a challenge, this course is it.
Great course
Nice course. Well kept. Challenging greens. A tad short but just a tad.. my favorite in the area.
Good course
The course was in nice shape. Tee boxes and fairways were good. Greens were a touch slow but in good shape. Recommended
Have not played Serenoa in several years and was very pleasantly surprised to find the improvements in conditioning from my last visit. Greens and fairways were pristine. Tee boxes ‘OK’. Can’t rate bunkers as I wasn’t in any, but my playing companion was in two and escaped with sand saves on both. As to staff: Mike in clubhouse couldn’t have been friendlier. Teed off a little after 12 noon to find the course almost empty. As a twosome we played the front in 1:15 and back in 1:30 (slowed down only by delay in waiting out a short cloudburst). I will definitely return and can highly recommend this course.
fun day in 94-degree heat
There was enough shade to keep it playable. course is in very good condition for the extremely dry conditions we have had this summer season. Staff was very friendly but there is no beverage cart. You will see deer.
