Golfer Reviews
Turnberry and Sawgrass in nice shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A little difficult navigating between these two 9 hole courses could use some more signage. A couple of holes have hidden water hazard so best to ask before you start off.
Course conditions are very good in spite of the dry season water restrictions.
Self absorbed women with zero etiquette but huge attitude
Went off as a single. After 6 holes I came up on 2 women who let me through without issue. Two holes later I come onto the tee of par 5 before a group of 3 women have even teed off, after already waiting in the prior fairway. Did they let me through immediately, or did they proceed to hit balls sideways into the woods (they should NOT be playing a championship level course until they can both hit it better than awful beginners, AND UNDERSTAND BASIC GOD.D. ETIQUETTE.
I patiently waited 27 MINUTES for them to play a par 5 that I had driver, 6 iron into. UNACCEPTABLE.
DID THEY LET ME THROUGH ON THE NEXT TEE, WHICH I ARRIVED AT AGAIN BEFORE THEY EVEN TEED OFF... NOPE. PURE UNADULTERATED IGNORANCE. Just like the massive numbers of Left Lane Losers in this country (self absorbed losers is why we can't have the Autobahn with no speed limit).
There was a ranger sitting behind the green, but he was too late to set them straight and teach them how etiquette works.
So I had to teach them. There wouldn't have been yelling involved if they had not verbally aggressed me as their opening words to me, on top of making me wait 50 minutes to play 1.5 holes when 2 other groups let me through immediately upon seeing me.
You aren't going to be nice to me, when I give you 3 opportunities, then you open with verbal aggression towards me, the. get ready to have some cold hard reality come down hard into your ears.
Nice even with drought conditions
First time playing here. Nice helpful staff. Even with our severe drought, it played well. Greens rolled true, sand traps maintained. Some tee boxes and high traffic areas burned out but not much anyone can do about it now. We need rain...just at night please!
After years of Waiting I finally played Waterford!
Beautiful day to golf at Waterford. I ended up being a single because the threesome arrived a lot earlier than me! I was 20 mins early for tee time. I headed out on Gleneagles and then to Sawgrass. They did warn my it was dry due to the drought situation. Hard to find puffy grass on Gleneagles but Sawgrass was all but perfect. There are some holes that houses sit to close for comfort. I may have hit a roof or two! Overall would recommend playing Waterford.
Fun course
Fun course, good conditions on Glen Eagles, Turnberry is a bit rough. There wasn't a beverage cart which was a bummer as it was hot as heck and we were parched and ran out of water. Eventually we made it to a comfort station and refilled our water bottles.
Grateful Day
First tee time played with three nice guys. Staff very friendly appreciative of our business. Pace of play nice.
Score cards
Great course in fine shape. It was my first time playing the course and I had no idea what the layout was. Would have been helpful to see the layout on scorecard or distant signs with a picture.
A good $50-$60 course
We played after 3 o’clock, so the rate was $50. The fairways are showing a lot of stress. The greens however, are fairly nice. The place of play was outstanding. I am always curious, rather than have nobody out on the course why they don’t lower the greens fees.
Fair Course
Very Noisy front nine( Glen Eagles) !!!!! Turnbury vey nice! The course in good condition ,considering all the play this winter season. Greens definitely NEED rolling very bumpy
Will play again
The course was an excellent shape from tees to greens. Pace of play was quick. Played in just over four hours.
