Sawgrass/Gleneagles at Waterford Golf Club

Course layout was nice, stay very friendly and pace of play was good. The course should invest in actual ice and water machines on the course at the restroom stops!

The course is in good shape but could use some water and mowed in places. As I live in Venice it’s summer and things can get either wet or dry at times I thought the course was good. Sawgrass as usual was a gem. Staff awesome carts sanitized after each use. Shot my best score ever. Will be back soon.

Played course for the first time this past week-end. Course was in good shape, greens rolled fast and true, pace of play was good. The only complaint (sort of) is the cost. This course is not worth 48.00 per person. It's a nice course that is somewhat short and moderately challenging, That being said, golf is more expensive in the Venice area so I understand (still being "in season"). I live in Tampa area and you can play some better courses for less $ in this area.

It really needs plenty of TLC. The fairways had several kinds of grass in addition to weeds. The tee boxes were often not cut or dirt , some grass and weeds. I have played six courses in the Venice area recently and it is in the worst condition by far. I will not return!!

The layout is challenging and laid out nicely, but the maintenance was sub-par. Tee boxes were shaggy and the greens had ants. The greens rolled true and nicely manicured . Course distance markings were accurate.
