Sawgrass/Gleneagles at Waterford Golf Club

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Course was in good shape and pace of play was good. What else could you ask for.

Waterford May be an aging course but it’s still an awesome track. Coral golf is making some significant changes to the amenities and course condition. The fairways are in great shape and the greens roll true. With the addition of Golf Now hopefully our group can play it all winter season.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work.

Waterford is always a joy to play . The staff is super friendly and the course is in excellent condition. Our group plays Waterford during the summer and now with them being on Golf Now season golf should be fun.

Wonderful golfing experience. Perfect weather. Played mid afternoon. No one ahead of us and no one pressuring us. Played in less than 3 1/2 hours. Very informative and kind staff.. Will definitely return to play again. Excellent value. Fair and well manicured greens, - moderately fast. Cold draft beer!

We finally played this course on a bright sunny day. As there were few golfers that afternoon, we played 18 in 3-1/2 hours. The course is picturesque and in great condition. The greens are very true. I wish the scorecard had diagrams of each hole as the creek just before the green on Gleneagles #8 surprised us as you can’t see it from the fairway 130 yards back from the green. All in all a great experience— we’ll be back!!

I typically use the range but finally played it twice this past week with out of town guest. Layout was nice and challenging for my skill set. Well maintained and great friendly staff. All around excellent experience both times. Wife and I liked it so much going to play again this weekend.

Course layout was nice, stay very friendly and pace of play was good. The course should invest in actual ice and water machines on the course at the restroom stops!

The course is in good shape but could use some water and mowed in places. As I live in Venice it’s summer and things can get either wet or dry at times I thought the course was good. Sawgrass as usual was a gem. Staff awesome carts sanitized after each use. Shot my best score ever. Will be back soon.

Played course for the first time this past week-end. Course was in good shape, greens rolled fast and true, pace of play was good. The only complaint (sort of) is the cost. This course is not worth 48.00 per person. It's a nice course that is somewhat short and moderately challenging, That being said, golf is more expensive in the Venice area so I understand (still being "in season"). I live in Tampa area and you can play some better courses for less $ in this area.

It really needs plenty of TLC. The fairways had several kinds of grass in addition to weeds. The tee boxes were often not cut or dirt , some grass and weeds. I have played six courses in the Venice area recently and it is in the worst condition by far. I will not return!!

The layout is challenging and laid out nicely, but the maintenance was sub-par. Tee boxes were shaggy and the greens had ants. The greens rolled true and nicely manicured . Course distance markings were accurate.
