Primm Valley Golf Club - Lakes Course

What a fun golf course!! Every shot in the bag, especially with 25MPH winds!! Elevation changes & defined fairways make for a very visual golf course!! Anyone coming to Las Vegas needs to play this club!! Will definitely be back!

My favorite golf course. Too bad the drive is so long. But it's worth it.

I played the lakes course is it was great. The design is beautiful, but some holes were a little rough. All the greens were in great shape however, some fairways were tore up. The pace on the lakes course was very slow. After 9 I asked the started if we could finish on the desert course and he said no problem. There was nobody on that course but it was in terrible shape. It is worth the trek to play the beautifully designed Tom Fazio lakes course.

Wonderful design. Good mix of long and short. Plenty of room off the tees and the greens are extremely fair.

Great course just tends to be windy and can get clogged up out there

Worth the drive from Vegas! The conditions were perfect and the course was outstanding. Had heard lots of good things about the course over the years and it was worth the wait. Loved it!

Very nice golf course, well worth the 30 min. drive from Las Vegas.

This is a very nice course to play if you are in vegas. We did book thru golfnow Hot Times for a good rate. The course is in very good shape from tee to green. It did get a little slow play in spots and also with holes 1 and 16 always being cart path only

Very friendly and helpful staff. Bring LOTS of water. The beverage cart only comes around every 45 minutes-or-so and there are NO drinking fountains on the course. Played the Lakes course this day and the wind was almost unbearable!

Beautiful day... course overall in good shape. Tees and grass areas are great... greens had just been sanded and will be in prime condition soon. Only problem is the bunkers... hard packed dirt instead of sand. Don't even try an explosion shot.

Also, no water on course.

Excellent setting, beautiful course. Greens had be aerated and sanded a bout two weeks earlier so the greens were a little unpredictable, but healing well.
Bunkers were very hard, almost like hardpan. Could use a little softening. Great practice facilities.
Challenging, beautiful course and well worth the drive from Las Vegas to play. Staff very friendly.

The elevation changes are not apparent until you look down from greens. the 18 th fairway is somewhat unfair due to the right to left roll. I drove in the middle of fairway but the ball rolled into water.

I played the Lakes course. It was beautiful, great greens and wide fairways, with character. (I didn't feel like i was playing the same hole over and over) I am a fast golfer and was paired with a child playing a tournament warm up round with his overbearing father as his caddy/coach - and they put us behind a foursome. So, my company was uncomfortable and the pace was agonizingly slow. Having said that, the course itself was beautiful and in excellent condition, with a nice range and chipping/practice area, and a friendly staff.

An oasis in the middle of the dessert. Absolutely stunning views.

I played this course in the middle of summer when it was so hot that we almost quit after 10:00 A.M.
It's much more enjoyable in a cool weather this time.

Paid $35 and was worth that. Not worth too much more. However, for that price I would definitely golf again. I had trouble finding the course. It was located west of town a few miles on its own. Next to the solar farm. I did not eat/drink there but cart service was great. Staff at bag drop/clubhouse and pick up were great. Course had some difficult and challenging slopes. Greens were real fast 14. Like putting on cement and pin placements were real challenging. Enjoyed the challenge. Will golf again.

We try to play either course a couple times per year. We would play more often if we lived closer.
