About
Named after the springs that snake through the layout, Delaware Springs Golf Course is a scenic links-style track that is one of the better values in Texas golf. The low prices and friendly service, combined with a picturesque and challenging golf course, make this a Hill Country favorite.
Architects Dave Axland and Dan Proctor built a natural-looking course that fits the terrain perfectly. The course is nestled into the rolling hills and oak trees along the Highland Lakes, playing 6,891 yards from the tips. During your round you’ll encounter lush fairways frequently loaded with bunkers, large greens that slope severely, and numerous bump and run shots. The designers added a few original touches, such as the descriptive Scottish names for each hole (the 18th is called "Hame" for the home hole).
Another interesting design twist involved placing the signature hole as the opener. Playing 504 yards to a par 5, no. 1 is best attacked with an iron into the left side of a sloping, tree-lined fairway. The creek cuts into the landing area, making it a testy tee shot. The second shot must bend around the dogleg to the left and over the creek, and the approach is into the green shaded by large trees on the right.

Great course
Course was in excellent condition for time of the year. Greens were in amazing shape. Staff was great. Overall will be back. Would be back more often if closer to my location but worth the drive for sure.

Worth the drive to Burnet, TX
I usually reserve my opinions to myself however, this course is too good to not leave a positive review. Upon driving in, you’ll notice the green fairways. So, I figured the greens would be much better. They were! It’s a fair course where one can score, and score well. This was the 1st time I played the course and will be back for more. Congrats, Delaware Springs, we’ll done!

Worth the trip
Course was in great condition for the current heatwave, it’s definitely one of my new favorites in Austin. Greens were in almost perfect condition. A fun course. Will be back.

Great Condition!
Given the weather we've had, Delaware Springs is much more lush than I was expecting this time of year. The greens were actually kind of slow! Always -- and still -- a favorite.

Great course, great value,
Delaware springs was quite a drive from the Georgetown area. But it was worth it. Conditions would've been a 5 star, but there was some rain the days before, and a few small swampy areas (definitely not the courses fault). Course had a great, challenging layout, and firm fast greens, but also very receptive. Good sand in the bunkers. We did get stuck behind a very slow group, and it took the Marshall a little bit to get us moving faster, but they did eventually. All that said, I will definitely go back. What a great value!!

Another great day at Delaware Springs
Friendly service from check in inside to the Marshall, friendly service at the bar. Marshall actually made rounds on the course. Good pace of play, 4 hrs 10 min for 8:15 tee time (could have been faster but searched for a few balls).
Course layout great. Tee boxes a little hard from lack of water but not in bad shape, greens rolled pretty true and I’m better shape than most Austin courses. I should really make the trip more frequently. Great job!

A joy to play
The course was in superb condition for any time of year but even moreso considering it was July and temps have been in the low 100s for a month.
I really liked the layout and the greens were running very true and lovely to putt on.
The staff was friendly, the marshall very helpful and insightful, and the chicken salad sandwich was a culinary delight.
This was the first time playing Del Springs but certainly not the last.

If you have not played Delaware springs lately…what are you waiting for? The golf course was in terrific condition. The greens had a thin layer of sand but it did not affect playability. Even though it was 100 degrees when I played it was a great rounf
