The second round is great, has a wonderfull ves and exiting shots, I recomend to play this course ir gibe you a great experience

Wide fairways and rough that is not difficult to play from make this course enjoyable, particularly if you are not familiar with it. There are some well placed trees and bunkers that add challenges, without being so difficult that is discourages the average golfer. This is a very good course to play if you are out for a day of good fun.

The staff was great - very friendly and accommodating.

Buddy and I drove out from Pflugerville, had a hot deal for $14 each on a Sunday 11am. We traded the cart for two buckets of balls, and we walked it. We like to walk, and usually the course just lets us get balls to hit if we don't want the cart if we paid for it through Golf Now. Anyway, Joined by a single at the first tee who had been playing the course for 15 years and was a real nice guy and had some helpful advice on several holes. Another single caught up and joined at #3 tee box and we played as a foursome. Greens were great; fast enough and rolled true. Fairways were in good shape. Some really beautiful views on several tee boxes and nice drive getting out there. Lots of hills but not an unreasonable walk. Always a better experience walking the course. For the price it was a great time for all of us!

Good course. Front 9 easier than back. Good views, worth a trip from Austin

Course was very wet do to recent flooding rains in central TX so cart path only. This slowed play a good deal. Other than the wet conditions the course was in excellent condition and we enjoyed play and plan to come back.

Course was over seeded this week so the fairways, greens and teeing areas were shaggy (unable to mow). The Bermuda fairways were still pretty decent and in much better condition than nearby Highland Lakes course (goat ranch). Traps were playable but somewhat inconsistent. Front nine is more open and forgiving but back nine is much more challenging.

Poor course conditions, 5 hour round, no beverage service. Find another place to play.

Challenging, tremendously maintained, best staff in Austin. Food is great, people are friendly...views are amazing, price is beyond fair especially thanks to Golf Nows regular specials on tee times. Personally your best bet for golf in North Austin.

I have played this course many many times over the years. It has a great layout, but over the years i fill like it's going down hill. The greens are very slow and bumpy and there are several with patches on the green.

In general this is an interesting course. Lots of interesting and challenging shots to be played and some great sloping greens. Unfortunately they are rather slow. I guess if they were quicker many would find them to be too difficult. That's a shame IMHO. I also found some fairway lies to be a little less than fair. Otherwise he course is a worthwhile place to tee it up.

All in all it is good value for the money.

This course is not in ideal condition but it is good enough for the money and speed of play.

A crisp, reliable round of golf. Nothing too fancy, but always fun.

Having moved to Texas over a year ago, this was the first course that I played last year and it was in great condition. My brother and I figured we give this course another try. I must say that I was disappointed and will scratch this off my list. Tee boxes weren't flat, and weren't cut so the grass was thick like the rough. The fairways weren't cut and you were penalized for landing anywhere. The worst thing of all were the greens. Greens weren't cut, and had terrible rolling. Very disappointed in Lago Vista.

Everything was good exept for my score and lost a lot of balls.

Greens are in very poor condition. Looks like they were aerated but never managed after. Ball just bounced around on greens. Shot 77, but feel like I left 5 birdies on greens due to poor conditions of greens

gorgeous views with many deer on course. layout takes advantage of hills. course is fun to play but greens are not very good.

I have played this course 100 times in the past and have enjoyed it a great deal. However, since the new management took over, the course has not been maintained well and the conditions prove that. The greens were not in good shape and the mowers did a pitiful job leaving the fairways and greens in shoddy condition.

The layout and undulation was exactly what i was looking for when my son and i drove the extra distance into the hill country. Course was laid out nicely and the views were spectacular. Our issue was that the fairways were not mowed and the greens had been punched and sanded recently which made it considerably less enjoyable. It was a good value, but wished i had looked at previous comments about the greens. I would love to play this course again when the greens and fairways have been mowed.
