Lago Vista Golf Course

Great course. I would have liked to have more time to play the entire 18 holes. The 9th hole was interesting with t shot to what seemed like the edge of the earth. I have not played a course that had so many massive changes in altitude! Course was good but not too challenging for a high handicapper like myself. I know some of the T shots were intimidating and awe inspiring like the par 5 hitting off the hill to a very wide fairway. Great course I look forward to playing there in the future.

We got a "hot deal" on golfnow for $25/golfer. For what we paid, we were more than pleased. The facilities weren't anything special, but the course conditions were some of the best I've seen for a public course.

I have played Lago Vista for three years or more now, and the pace of play is consistently slow. there should be no problem getting around that coarse in 4 hours.

Please start getting them on a 4 hour pace.

I like playing out there because it's never overbooked and pace of play is fast.

Played this course for the first time on Friday. Enjoyed it enough to come back on Sunday. Staff was friendly and helpful. Grill is great. The course is in really good shape for this time of year and considering the other courses I have played lately. Fairways are soft and layout is beautiful and challenging to a high handicaper like me. Greens are really good. A few had a bare spot on them but most were excellent. Had trouble putting though because they were so slow compaired to the greens I have been playing.

I always enjoy playing at Lago because the price is right and the course is always in good shape even during a drought. Fairways and greens are always in good shape and are fair. I hate the tree on #11 but other than that no complaints.

Lago is my preferred course. The staff is incredible, always welcoming and friendly. The course is fun and always in good shape. It will bewilder you at times, with blind fairways, elevation changes and undulating greens. Keep your head and don't try to muscle your way around and you will have fun. There is no where else I would rather play. My brother and I play here weekly. It is almost like home to us.

I played here yesterday and enjoyed myself. I played it once about 15 years ago so I didn't really remember the layout. I rated the course conditions 4 only because some of the greens were a little beat up. Overall its a great layout with not a lot of water and the views on some of the holes are awesome. The staff was great and the facilities were nice. I'll definitely be going back.

First time to play this course. Conditions overall were good. The views were awsome.

Course was in good shape. Pace of play was good. For a hill country course the price point was nice. I would definantely recommend this course.

One of the best courses we played in Austin area and we played some that cost over twice as much. It was hands downs the greenest. Some of tee boxes needed a steam roller they were arched from side to side. A few little things added to this course would make it great. Paint the red white & blue yard markers on cart path(very simple) had to take your best guess on yardage out from green. added Highland Lakes gc for $13. (can't beat that).Can't leave out the deer hanging around the course.

Find this gem out in the hill country close to Lake Travis, very good condition, well manicured, good facilities, some very challenging holes, some not so but fun. Fairways were green, greens were in great shape. Really enjoyed playing Lago.

Enjoyed a windy day on this course. It has great views of the area Marshall that day was very friendly. Great staff. Driving range was hitting from mats at this time of the year.

Course was in great shape. Busy because of great weather. It would have been nice if a marshal would have been present. Had a group of 5 members who refused to let anyone play through, held up the entire back 9. Called the clubhouse to get a marshal sent over and he/she never showed. Had another pair of members who were very rude. Doubt that I will return, even though I really like playing the course.

This is a hilly course. I was fun and some poorly designed holes. Nine is blind driving par 4. You better look before you use a driver on this hole as you will be in a yard left or right.

We want to play this course again. Loved the challenge, the views, other players were friendly, course was in good shape this time of year.

Didn't expect much from the course but when I stepped on the tee it was gorgeous. The views and and how well kept the course was blew me away. I was very happy and had a great round!

We finish the front nine in three hours we started the back nine got to the first par 3 and turn around and leht the course because it was five deep to play it

This golf course is very nice for playing. I do like this course. Next time i'd like to play my family.
