course was in excellent condition.

Pin placement was very tough today and greens were rolling fast and true. Will play again soon.

The course was well maintained. The greens were slick as *^%# but the most fair and true that I’ve played on all year. Well done.

Pace of play 4 hours , cart path only so very good

Tee boxes wet in poor condition , lots of divots and bare spots

Greens as always rolled true and fast

Fairways were in very good shape

Play all over the country and Makray is a sold test of golf

I haven’t played the course since it was renovated years ago. The layout was nice and challenging for a mid-80’s golfer which I do appreciate. There was water in play on some holes but not too punishing to ruin the round. The greens were fast and rolled great. My suggestion to an average golfers is to take at least an extra club to most approach shots to the greens as most were elevated and not easy to roll It on. The GPS on the carts were helpful as there were a few holes that were blind along with not hitting driver off the tee for better positioning on holes To avoid hazards. I booked with Golf Now on a HOT DEAL and it was a nice surprise as I’ve seen the rates often double what I paid. I will play here again for sure.

They course dry and slot of divets in the fair way .the sand trap are socked very wet have hard time geting the ball out ,a lot of footprint all over.there were four some young college student hitting more than one ball almost in every hole .no enforcement by the rangers .I will play it again .

Course was in great shape. Holes here are well framed and allow you to play them strategically. e.g.; best angle of attack at the pin. Bunkers were inconsistent. Hard and soft. I realize that with stacking tee times every 10 minutes they are trying to maximize rounds play. However, the Ranger was a little overbearing. Especially when we were told to pick up the pace and when we arrived at the next tee had to wait. This happened twice. The second time the ranger moved from shot to shot with us. We finished 18, a foursome in 4:10 so I don't get the pressure tactic. From a course perspective, would come back,.

With so many great courses in the NW Chicago burbs, I finally got to Makray. What a wonderfully challenging course!

The amenities are first rate and the staff is very professional and friendly! I definitely will be back!

First time playing, really enjoyed the course. Conditions were great for a public course, especially the greens which were fast, true, and fantastic. Layout was very challenging. Pace was slow, teed off at 6:30 AM and took over 4.5 hours. Waited on group in front on every shot, no marshal to move them along. Staff tried to overcharge me in the shop, I made a reservation to walk and they attempted to charge the rate with cart. It was only after I said something did they change the rate, and the fella behind the counter was not too pleasant about it.
