Kiva Dunes Golf Course

The greens are large. Fairways wide. Trouble is easily seen.

Enjoyed our round. Some standing water in fairways but this is a fact of life in Fort Morgan. Even the roads have standing water in some locations.

First time back after the 2020 hurricane. Greens were in fantastic shape. Course was clean and well manicured. Will definately go back

Loved the layout. Was challenging enough for me as a 6 handicap. Fairways and greens were immaculate. My 77 felt like a solid round for me. Was worth the $105 green fee. Would highly recommend.

Kiva is the nicest place I’ve played in AL, “double your money” on the par 3 was a fun touch. Will be back.

Played this course via Golfnow and got a $30.00 discount from what the course would charge directly. Very friendly staff and a nice layout. Not too hard, but no piece of cake. Greens were a little slow and rough a little tall, but they have had a ton of rain the prior two weeks. I'm sure when the weather cooperates it would be really nice. Surprisingly the course drained well. Greens were smooth, fairways very nice and other than water in the bunkers they too were in good shape. My rating system will only let me give a 5 star to truly 5 star courses...i.e. Pebble Beach, etc. But this is a very good course if you're in the area to try out. Two birdies and a decent round of 78 from the white tees. Played from the white because the two guys I got paired up with were playing from there. The blue tees are not that much longer. Kudos to the friendly staff at Kiva Dunes!

Wont find a better course around right now. In amazing shape! I would say almost perfect overall. Fairways, rough, and bunkers are perfect. Greens are pretty much near perfect. Im really picky about greens and you can tell greens had been aerated around a month ago or so but it didn’t affect anything and they roll true. If you love quick greens you will enjoy this course. Also very scenic and with lots of wildlife. This course is very particular about pace of play .. which can be a good thing or maybe a bad thing depending on how you or your group plays. Course staff did a great job of making sure everyone was playing at a quick pace and if you are trying to escape the heat and tee off early you will love it. Be weary if you are trying to take your time out there with a slow group of 4 , the Marshalls are very nice but they will remind you of your pace. Highly recommend this course and will play it every time I’m back in the area no doubt. Thanks Kiva ! Keep up the good work
