Love golf so far
Love this place, wish they have more hot deals, wish I get emails direct from them for great deals without booking fees, wish the restaurant opens early as I like to play early, overall, love this place as I have said.
Executive Course
Good practice facility for playing irons. Staff very helpful in explaining course.
Great little course
Greens are very good, the ball holds well, pace of putting not too fast, not slow. Greens pretty easy to read, some slight breaks but true. Fairways are green but being mostly par 3 don't come into play too often. Nice course for first game, get the kinks out especially the short game. Did the course in just over two hours so if time is an issue this is the course for you. We normally play full course so probably won't play it again this year. Staff were very nice, would be an easy walk for those so inclined. Excellent for an executive course
Staff
I always enjoy playing Lomas Santa Fe. The staff and ground keepers are wonderful people and very courteous. Vince who works in the pro shop is super friendly and Frank one of the ambassadors is very engaging. This course has its challenges and I would highly recommend the course so as to work on your short game. Thank you, Gil
Love going back to this place
Never disappoint. Staff is great and friendly. Golfers are decent and respectable. Hamburger is one reason I come back. It’s the best !
Golf with my 8yr old grandson
Beautiful Day, perfect course and pace. The course is very well maintained.
The Snack Bar and restaurant can use a bit of a makeover!!!!
Great Course for the Price & Location
Love this course, as it's close to home, reasonably priced, in nice condition and the staff is friendly.
Great course
This was a very nice course to play.this was my first time but certainly not my last.
Golf should be fun
My wife and I love this course. It is short, but not a pushover. Interesting mix of holes, all well-maintained. A great course to walk and sharpen your short game. Staff is very friendly. After all, they work in paradise.
Executive Course vs. Pitch and Putt
We drove by the Lomas Santa Fe Executive course the other day and it looked very pretty from the road so we thought we'd give it a try. It's connected to the full size and private Lomas Santa Fe Country Club so we figured it would be pretty good, for an executive layout. And it was okay. A nice setting, good conditions (other than the very chewed up and occasionally uneven tee boxes) and what appeared initially to be a good variety of holes. However, I wound up hitting the same 52* wedge on 6 or 7 holes that played the same distances despite having a 15-20 yard difference on the score card. There were 16 par 3s and 2 par 4s (both less than 300 yards). There are a few other executive courses in the San Diego area. Tecolote Canyon was pretty beat up everywhere when I played a couple of years ago and Mission Bay was pretty flat and dull. LSF is the best of the three, by far.
Course was in good shape despite heavy rains earlier in the week. Greens were in excellent shape for a public course. A nice outing for the money
