Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course

Best conditions so far this trip. Even with the aerated greens it is a very well maintained course. The bunkers are very playable which is a nice change from the other 3 courses so far this trip. Great place to bring a beginner for some fun and if you consider yourself a golfer prepare to score well. My only complaint would be the tee box distance markers were constantly off by 15 yards and these are pretty small greens so no matter how they are measured it shouldn't be that far off.

I will return to this couse.

You can't beat this course for the price, location and conditions. Best value around San Diego County.

The staff was low key and friendly. The course has a nice layout with easy and challenging holes. It is well maintained and the greens putt true. The pace of play was crisp, a very enjoyable and relaxing round with friends. If using I-805 and I-5, recommend finishing before 3:00pm as the afternoon traffic is nasty. This course is a gem.

Tee box are poor and the pace was very slow due to large number of people on course. We saw groups of six and five at time and no course ranger to help keep the pace moving.

Lomas Santa Fe. Is a beautiful course with rolling hills and shade trees. The course is well maintained and one mile from the ocean. We enjoyed the cool breezes. This course is great for practicing the short game, but has 2 par 4s that allow you to use other clubs as well. The putting greens offer challenges for all. We will definately golf there again.

Only complaint was the speed of play. 3.5 hours on an Executive course with many of the holes less than 100 yards will test your patience. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful day, playing with friends from Iowa, and overall, we had an enjoyable time playing golf. Very receptive greens that rolled fairly well. Love the Solana Beach area.

This executive course is rather short, but well kept and can be challenging for those who are used to slugging every shot. This course takes some finesse to score well.

Perfect place for juniors or seniors and the drink cart circulates often!

Very pleasant outing. Great staff and conditions.

Not crowded. Easy pace of play.

Just an all-around good experience my friends and I I hope to repeat often.

There were just enough water hazards to keep it challenging and an ice cold frosty beer reward at the end of the day.

Pete was friendly, polite and reassuring. He was considerate to my needs as a nervous anxious older adult who likes to play golf. Thanks Peter!

One more thing, the hamburger in this place is one reason I go back. It's the best I've had ever!

We were visiting the area and thoroughly enjoyed our 18 holes for an executive course. Very friendly staff, got on earlier than our Tee Time. Course is well maintained and only had to wait a few mins on each hole on the back 9. Will return if we are in the area again. BTW I birdied the 17th hole and my husband is still amazed!

Booked at the last minute hoping the inclement weather would hold off (it didn't) but we showed up and played anyway. The sole remaining staff member was gracious enough to bring out a cart as long as we promised to stay on the path, and with no one else in sight we played 18 holes in 2 hours flat. While 4th round play at the nearby Farmers Open was suspended, we powered through the high wind and showers and had a great time.

This is a great course to practice your short game. The course is well maintained and the Staff is friendly and accommodating. I'll be including this course in my regular cycle.

As a fairly new golfer I thought this course was perfect. This was the first time I have played a full 18 holes. There are plenty of hazards to keep it interesting but also plenty of open fairways and few trees so it wasn't too difficult or frustrating. Each hole was easy to find and the sequence was straight forward. Beautiful course, nice grass and polite fellow golfers. I had a fantastic day and will defiantly be returning!!!

As a new golfer I really liked this course. I went to a full sized course the day prior and was very intimidated. This course provided the perfect challenge without defeating my spirits. The man in the pro shop was super nice and we appreciated the snack cart gal too. I can't wait to go back!

very disorganized... letting people play as soon as they showed up.. not following booked tee times.. we got there and there were 5 carts waiting to get on and play.. some had tee times after ours...
waited at lest 25 mins to play first hole...

I really like this course and it was my 2nd time there...

We enjoyed our round very much. Had a great time and enjoyed partner we were paired with.

This is called exec length, though only 2 par fours, one of which is drivable. That said, the par threes are various lengths which challenged me to tee off with anything from 6 iron to sand iron. The greens are large and in good shape. I will return for another game.

This is a fun course for players of beginner-intermediate levels. None of the holes are very long but there are some challenging holes with bunkers and some of the greens can be tricky depending on pin placement. It's very well-maintained, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Good value. I lucked out and got paired w/ an Ambassador who was very helpful and friendly. Beginners will like the fact that they can see the pin from each T. And some of the holes are less than 100 yards. I'm just learning to play golf-took lessons 6 mos ago and have played a total of 8 rounds at 3 different courses in last 6 mos. This is a perfect course to play, practice and have fun. Overall a terrific experience. Took around 2 1/4 hours to play 18.

First time I have played the course with the new 15" hole option. Enjoyed the chance to be under par for the round. Not sure I would play the 15" holes everytime, but it made for a quick and enjoyable round.
