Turkey Creek Golf Course

Very payable, fairways a little thin..greens good condition

I had played Turkey Creek many years ago when I lived in the area, and before it had closed. The course has been open since January of this year, and is in rough shape. The greens were rough, bumpy, and slow. The fairways weren't much better. I lost two golf balls in weeds that could not have been more than six feet from the fairway. The worst part of playing here was the pace of play. I was paired with a couple of guys who were beginners, but nice fellas. As a threesome, it took FOUR hours and FORTY FIVE minutes to play the round. The threesome in front of us was constantly behind, and many times were only a few yards off the tee with their tee shots. So, it made for a difficult day waiting to play every shot. The only good thing was the weather which was beautiful. Won't be playing here again.

First time at this course! Better conditions than most courses in the area! Greens were green, fairways could use a littl help in some areas but overall great course! We will be back!

This golf club has really come a long way. This golf club had been closed ( no activity)for many years, The amount of work preformed mostly by volunteers is amazing. This will be one of if not the best public access golf course in the Gainesville area. Way to go Turkey Creek Your work diligence shows

Davey golf has turned course around nicely. Greens are fun and GREEN !! Fairways a little narrow at times work in progress (tree pruning). Will return

The golf course almost there 9am tee 3.5 hour round can’t beat that on a Monday morning the greens a little hairy fairways a little thin still a great layout tight fairway give it sometime and they won’t have any open tee times 18 hole what a great finish hole

Greens are really coming in good. The folks there really care about making it a good course. It’s only been open a couple months, but you see the staff working hard to improve the course. Fairways and bunkers are in need of the most improvement, but always is the biggest challenge when reviving a course. One other recommendation would be to make the course GPS ready so to get proper distance measurements.

For a course that was closed for a decade, the greens are coming in nicely and are already in better shape than the other public courses in town. Can't wait until the fairways grow in, it will be a nice track.

A little long but nice layout. Still needs some work but in good shape. Fairways a little thin but looks like they are working on them. Overall nice day
