Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Enjoyable clean day
I really enjoyed golfing here. Good great staff. The only knock is the $8 per shot of vodka.
Vivid-19
Golf partners had to self quarantine , cancelled round due to that& golf now our the course would honor a refund charged full price for tee times 7 days out , not fare!
Great price , wide open
Played a round Saturday at 930. Course was beautiful. It was wide open no one in front or behind us. Price was excellent for this tome of year!

Enjoyed playing this course...the difficulty of the par 4s vary..overall so long as you stay on grass you can score we
Windy Today but Good
Had a lot of fun getting out of the house. Course is in good shape for the time of year. Greens are hard and ball jumps off on them. Overall it wS a lot of fun.
Good layout
Unfortunately no overseeding has been done so it doesn’t look like the pictures you see.
Very tight lies as a result and no grass to stop the ball rolling way off the green.
Very good experience
First time playing this course. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Very challenging course. Some fairways and greens were not the best. I’m guessing as summer comes it will improve.
Poorly maintained
Very hard ground, very dry, yellow on fairways and greens. Poorly maintained.
Lots of deferred maintenance
Fairways were neither brown or green. Not sure why. Sand traps were often too hard to hit from. Tee boxes beat up especially on the par 3s. Just a general lack of care and repair.
Aliante Golf
Course was in terrible condition - no grass on fairways and rough was just hardpan. One of our group drove a 419 yard hole on a ball that was not in the air 200 yards.I can honestly say it was the worst course I have ever played in 35 years of golfing.
To make things even more fun we were playing behind a group of six players.
OMG
I know it early March, but I wouldn't pay $5 to play this course right now. No excuse to have the fairways and bunkers in such embarrassing condition.
