Aliante Golf Course
About
Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Nice Course
Played this course about four years ago just after Troon Management took it over. It was in nice shape, but not as great as I would have expected from a Troon course. Fairway grass was scrubby and uneven throughout. It is a good tract, but needs to be put into pristine condition ala other Troon venues. Sand traps were in terrible condition with just a few that had enough sand. Virtually impossible to get balls out of the bunkers with concrete like sand and high lips.
Friendly course with good value
Pace was good. Greens and fairways in good condition. Just the course isn't challenging enough and the rest of the facilities is kinda old. Will play again.
Great course
Really enjoy playing Aliante. Great course and staff
Country club feel
The staff treated us great they were very helpful and there were player assistants on the course guiding you through the course and answering your questions.
Aliante
Greens were worse then fairways I've played on. Rough was like playing on a links course, which wasn't like that last time I had played it. Overall, won't be coming back until it's prime condition.
just OK!
Had to wait over 30 minutes for a cart to charge, then had to swap for another after 9 holes. Like almost every other course out here the sand traps are garbage! The layout is OK, couple blind hazards. Condition was fairly common for the area this time of year as they let it dry out to prepare for over seeding. Greens were fast, yet receptive, and what would be considered on the larger size. Overall it was a decent course and I would probably go back as long as rate is right, and hopefully they have more carts.
needs attention
Played here yesterday, the course is rated 4 stars so thought be nice ha ha wrong. Not sure whom give it such high reviews? The course itself is very easy layout but the rough was not sure what it is I seen some rough before but Really ! And not sure who keeps the maintaining the greens but it was ridiculous patchy and just bad ball rolled the other way to every hole no flow and indeed never frustrating .. Anyways lots of choices in Vegas past this one by it doesn't look it ever get better there. To bad could be or use to be good..
fun place to play
Awesome day 105 degrees practically had the coarse to ourselves. Coarse was in great shape, love playing here when its like this. We were done in 3 hours on a Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't beat that
tOUGH PUTTING
There were 18 Greens and not one was in good shape.
Greens need help
It is still a good course to grab a quick round but the condition of thr greens and most bunkers (I can't call them sand traps because there was just hard pan in them) was bad
poorest condition in las vegas
This is a great layout. Unless you hit it a long way, don't even think about playing from the tips. There are two professional length par 4s (#2 and #12) that are really too long for most amateurs. Although the course design is great, it currently is in the worst condition I have ever seen it. The greens are terrible, hard as a rock with patches of dirt showing through. The bunkers are all terrible and need new sand. I blame this on Troon Golf which is the management company. They're so eager to make money that they have let the condition of this beautiful golf course slide. Typically in Las Vegas, the summer heat takes its toll on golf courses. However, I play at different courses throughout the summer and have never seen one in this poor condition.
Slow play and narrow fairways
I'm used to slow play on the weekends in Vegas but 5 1/2 hour round in 100 degree heat! Marshall was driving around but did nothing to improve pace. Waited on every hole and every shot. Really wears on you and your game.
The fairways are quite narrow and lined with houses. Not a lot of room for an intermediate player (17 hdcp) like me. Pin placements were also tough and tucked away all day... it was Sunday though.
Long drive to North Las Vegas.
Rate was great ($28) but won't be playing again anytime soon.
Really great course to play
Loved playing 18 here. My group and I had a great pace of play and enjoyed the course from start to finish. I'll play here again when I come back.
great course and staff
The course was in great shape and the staff was awesome.
This course has a great lay out
I would definitely recommend this course to my golfing buddy's . It's a little bit far from the strip, but worth the drive. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The course is in great condition. I will play here again next time I visit Vegas!
Great course
I'm lucky to live close to this course. I've played several times now and enjoyed them all. I could not beat the price. First time using golfnow.com, but won't be the last.
Great value
This course is great value for any level of player. Staff were particularly accommodating and friendly.
My Home Course
I don't have a lot of golfing under my belt, but this course suits my ability as well as will provide the ability to improve.
Nice layout!
Enjoyed the course! The greens had been punched the day before but they were not bad at all! The fairways were beautiful. The staff were very friendly!
