Aliante Golf Course
About
Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Disappointed
I played course when first opened , was in great shape. I thought when Troon golf took over,it would stay that way, but to may dismay the greens were terrible. I paid $ 86.00 I should have gotten some kind of discount because of the condition of the greens. I would play again, but not at that price. By the way residents pay only $43.00.
greens
The layout was good, hidden trouble off the tee for long hitters. Greens need a lot of help!!!!!!
Bad greens
I have played this course 3 times. The first two the course was in excellent condition. But this time the greens were in poor shape. Mean very bumpy and bad spots all over. Bad enough that players should have gotten a discount. This place is now run by Troon golf, I wasn't expecting the greens to be in the poor shape. Also no sand in bunkers. Still not a bad track. Too much money for out of towner.
18 Holes of patchy bumpy greens
The best part of the round was the starter and the beverage cart girl. Nice people.
The greens were bad. Pace of play was slow.
This course used to be nice, not so much anymore.
Aliante-Not what is could be!
Aliante Golf Course has a great staff. Friendly & helpful at check-in and cart pick-up area/starter.
Course has good layout & has such potential to be a great golfing experience but course maintenance really failed to deliver.
Sand traps have little or no sand & hard packed and the greens were in poor condition-Impossible to hold approach shots.
Really disappointed & not what I would expect from a Troon Golf Course.
straight forward
This is not a really long course which is great for us, the layout is straight forward so course knowledge is not that important. We enjoyed this track and played it twice on our trip. Greens ran true and there were no crazy surprises after you hit your ball. They put in a few dry rocky hazards that run across the fairways but you could see them and they give you yardage cards that are quite accurate and show where they and the bunkers are.

Course was in good shape, staff was friendly and helpful.
short course
The course winds thru a del web subdivision, nice and tight so hit them straight. Also there's a lot of greens that are guarded by bunkers in front of the green. You need to fly the greens to score.
Dump
Looking to play? Look elsewhere greens are like bubble wrap. I was behind a group of six. They were so slow a group of eight caught us. We treed off at 1:50 and it was too dark to play by the 12th hole. Stay away don't be fooled by the affiliation with Troon golf.
Must Play!
This course is gorgeous! About a 30min drive from the strip ($32 Uber ride) which was perfect to be just out of the city. The staff was ultra friendly, helpful and accommodating. The course conditions were some of the finest I've played anywhere. The greens were like putting on a billiard table, they were so fast and smooth. Should my travels take me to Vegas again, I will play this course again and so should you!
Aliante is just OK
I've golfed at many at Troon courses. Aliante doesn't compare with any of the others. It's an OK course, decent shape most of the time. I can only wish that Troon can actually bring this course up to Troon standards. I live just 2miles away, but manage to play there just 2or 3 times a year. ( I play 60-70 rounds/yr ) On a good note, I love the chipping area & practice putting green.
Great!
Found this course staying in downtown Vegas and made the drive out to play. awesome views, super friendly staff. Course was challenging but playable, great conditon. Will play again.
It is ok
这个场整体来说还可以,设计球道,果领还是有挑战性。但是草就没有那么漂亮,维护得不那么好。草比较干,需要周围再绿一点。刚到球场都没有服务员带忙在车上拿球包下来,指示不清楚。
Solid value for the money
Course was fair and very playable. Cold & windy. Staff was great - only negative was breakfast burrito.
Friendly course
Enjoyed a round there.
The staff were very friendly. The course was in good shape, particularly the greens - well maintenance.
The course was not difficult, but had some challenges to make the round interesting.
The foursome in front of us were slow. The course didn't have any staff to regulate the pace.
Overall, I recommend this friendly course to anyone.
You better be ready to run!!!
If you want to be rushed and have a very stressful round of golf, this is the course for you! My friend and I got paired with 2 other guys. When we teed off on the second hole the ranger pulled up. He told us that the group ahead of us was 1 hole behind. He informed them that they needed to pickup the pace. He then informed us that we needed to stay up with them. Told us the course was busy and we were expected to be done in 4 hours. Approximately every 2-3 holes the ranger would pass by making sure we were not falling behind. All 4 of us felt very uncomfortable having this happen to us so frequently. Half way thru the first nine it turned into speed golf. It was the must un-enjoyable round of golf that I have ever played in Las Vegas!
It's alright.
This course is certainly a step below the top courses in Vegas. It was in good condition though, and for the fee paid through golf now it was alright.
Sun City in Sin City
Fun to play; not that challenging. You would guess it was a Dell Webb operation but it is owned by the city and managed by Troon Golf. Recent greens over seeding and bunkers needing maintenance influenced my rating. Not up to your usual expectations of a Troon managed complex.
Fun in the fall sun
Greeted by friendly staff. They have a nice warm up /practice area. My wife said that the course was challenging, but not difficult. There are homes around the course, but not too close. If you haven't played in Las Vegas or Phoenix area - you may want to put a desert club in your bag. A desert club is for when you go out of bounds and have to hit from a rocky/gravel like area (you may not want to damage - scratch up your nice irons). We saw the food/beverage cart twice (once front 9/once back 9). Pace of play started out good, but then slowed. Apparently there was a local tournament in the morning. We started at 11:02 and ended at 15:44. I would definitely play this course again.
