Harmony Golf Preserve

Wow how the mighty have fallen. Such a wonderful layout, never had a problem making the hour-plus drive or paying the high daily fee… NOW HOWEVER the conditions are so terrible it might as well be a $29 muni that allows walkers and 5 hour rounds. Most greens had bare patches, weeds, unrepaired ball marks and rough cup edges. Tee boxes are all weedy and full of dirt patches. Almost all fairways have a TON of weeds, bare spots, bumpy areas that should be marked GIR, and just terrible conditions everywhere. What used to be lush, grassy green fairways and playable but challenging rough has been let degrade into such a disaster. Good luck finding any grass cushion under your ball either on the fairway or the rough. The rough is almost all so sparse that your ball will likely be sitting on dirt between spaced tufts of weeds. Bunkers were ok in all fairness, no quibble with those. Greens were very soft, like they haven’t been aerated, sanded and rolled in years. Every shot into the greens plugged, dove down and took out a big chunk that was almost impossible to repair. From beginning to end there’s nothing to like here anymore except the layout. I’m a solid single digit handicap, played the blue tees, and kept the ball in play and it was still so terrible I didn’t enjoy it at all. It’s not the weather, because I’m a local and play many of the other coursss within 20-30 miles, only the cheapo ones have this nonsense. This is all on management and the greens keeping.staff, no other way this happens to a high daily fee course that doesn’t have a ridiculous amount of traffic on it.

Nice local course thought rate for day and time was a little high probably would play more often if rates were better

We were greeting by excellent staff. My only complaint is the course conditions that we found for the price point that we paid. Overgrown grass, dirt patches and the fairways were ok. I will be coming back due to receiving a rain check but I will most likely not play here again.

Fairways have many weeds. The most of the roughs definitely have weed and dryness problems . The greens were good. Some greens have spots of tiny weeds but should not impact your putts much . The greens were really soft , decently fast and rolled true . Pace was great on a Sunday . We would’ve finished under 3.5 hrs but we caught up to a foursome at 14, and they wouldn’t let us twosome play thru. We finished before the rain so that was all we wanted . Would come back to play here again for the same GN hot deal !

course is in overall good shape...a few blems on a few greens, towards the edges for the most part. Just a great design, loved it for years.

I have played this course several times over the last 12 years. Always a great layout. The organization has had its ups and downs. The course is in need of some additional maintenance ( improved from 2 weeks ago when I last played the course).

The manager Mike and employee Tide were both top notched. I have great confidence that the course will return its once grandeur.

Great Johnny Miller layout. Weeds in fairway and around greens occasionally interfered with playing ball as it lies. Greens were good with slow to medium speed. Pace of play was excellent as only a few groups were playing. Golf carts were very nice with automatic brake lock after stopping.

Had a great time playing this course, well maintained.

Course conditions were not worth $100. Spotty greens and overgrown fairways and tee boxes.

Pace is poor . No ranger to oversea the pace..

Coarse is in poor condition,, most of the fairways do not have the grass . The greens turf is patchy.

Iot is not worth the money to play , they have to re do the entire fairway turf

Saw reviews before playing today about the course have known about it since it opened just never been able to play it today was my first and although I don’t like how much I paid to play this morning I wasn’t totally disappointed. Tee boxes could be better, some spots on the fairways and around the green here and there, but the fairways and greens themselves were not as bad as some people are saying this course is very playable and I enjoyed playing it very much, could be in better shape but I’ve played much much much worse courses in the area. Just wanted to refresh the opinion of the course in the reviews!

Fairways are 90 percent weeds. Tee boxes are terrible. Even at half the rate they charge it would be overpriced. It’s a nice layout that severely needs new management.

This is the worst I have ever seen a course that charges $75. Fairways and tee boxes had little to no grass and greens were weedy and had fungus. Also no ranger and the guys in front of us blasted salsa music the whole time and wouldn't let us play through. What a joke. It's a shame it's a great layout, but obviously they have given up.

Many greens have crust patches and have been invaded by either crabgrass or Po-Anna. These areas are raised making putting just guesswork. Fairways and the rough are patchy making preferred lies necessary. I remember when Harmony was one of the better kept courses in the area but the current management group have let it go. I cannot recommend playing here.
