Harmony Golf Preserve

This used to be one of my favorite courses but it is a dog track now. I’ve got no idea how this could have happened to such a wonderful course.

I was expecting more, the course in general was regular to bad...I drove 45 minutes to play there and I am really disappointed.

$65 is well over priced for this course particularly during the summer. Pro shop person was not friendly at all and when we mentioned that the fairways were awful and that there was no cart girl he just blew it off without commenting. Don’t waste your hard earned money playing here until they repair the fairways!

The course has taken a turn for the worse. The fairways are barren, with dirt all around. The Greens are in good shape. We last played here approximately a month ago, I don't know what happened. Will come back after they restore it to it's original condition.

One of the best around has gone to crap. Hadn't played there since last summer. Complete dissapointment. Would have given 0 stars except greens were in pretty good shape. Pace of play was excellent because there was no one there, never saw another group and we teed off at 11 am-- and this is why. Rest of course terrible. Anywhere there was supposed to be grass there wasn't. Fairways were dried up browned out and had HUGE patches of plain dirt. Same around Greens complexes. Every single one of them. Huge patches of tightly mown St. Augustine grass that crunched when you walked on it and this is the rainy season here in Florida. Tee boxes were the same and some were even worse. Only where there happened to be some real rough could you get any cushion under your ball. Doubt if we ever go back. 49$ Senior Fla. resident "discount" fee is Ridiculous. Wouldn't pay 20$ to play there now. Sad.

A couple of friends of mine went to play last week. wen we go to the bag drop and parked there was a young man in aa blue cart that watched us unload our clubs park our car then we loaded our clubs . He never moved from his blue cart. He never greeted us , never gave us a course update? We thought this to be odd since all courses will at least greet you and help with bags, not this course. We went in and payed 60 bucks , this time of the year there are summer rates but this course dose not have them. We went to the 1st hole to tee off away we went. we notices that the tee boxes were in terrible shape as well as the fair ways, big bare areas with nothing but dirt wand weeds. it looked like the sand hill cranes have been digging them although the front nine had a couple of cool doglegs and water shots there was fairways of weeds and the tee boxes were waist areas. when we got to the back nine it was twice as bad the tee boxed and fairways were trash, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16 fairways were completely unplayable, I have seen Mississippi cow pastures in better playing conditions than the back nine of Harmony. The owners, managers and ground superintendent should be fired . They do not know what they are doing or just don't care. The results speak for themselves. I do not recommend this course and will not return.

I've always enjoyed the layout at Harmony, but the course needs some TLC. The greens are in decent shape and rolled okay, but from tee to green, the course is in terrible shape. The tee boxes are shot, which to me is not that big of a deal since a tee is used, but is an indicator of the lack of care for the course. As for the fairways and fringes around the greens, Wow! the Bermuda grass is all but gone due to the fast growth of weeds! You know its bad when you can't improve your lie in the fairway because you can't find any grass? Anyway, not here to beat up a course, but to give a honest opinion of the playability. Not good!

Very impressed by the greens, but to charge $65 for tee boxes that are overgrown or full of sand is outrageous. Multiple fairways were just awful. Lots of rain is I'm sure the issue, but the price should reflect the courses conditions. I would have a hard time paying more than $30 for this round again and we paid $65 on the day.

Me and a couple of Friends went golfing Saturday . They drove up from Clearwater and after we checked I we started at the driving range and noticed there was no sand to Fill our divots. Then we wanted to putt while waiting, although the original putting green was OK the grass Surrounding the green was a mixture of weeds and dirt. When we got to the white tees on 1 we noticed it was in terrible shape there’s hardly any grass and it is filled with weeds. We kind of blew it off because we thought this was just the first team, however when we went and played the whole course every Teebox was in such terrible shape they are bare with mud sand and full of weeds it doesn’t look like they know how to plant grass on the tea boxes, some of the fairways had dead zones on them where the Sandhill Crane have destroyed several areas of the back nine notably 11, 13,14 and 15 fairways. This course needs help.

Greens and sand traps n great shape . All tee boxes are dirt only, grass gone !!!!! Fairways r aren’t much better . Birds r ratings fairways up!!!

Considering the rain we have had recently, the condition of the fairways and tee boxes was disappointing. Multiple barren patches. Not in the best condition I have seen this course.

The course is in need of extensive tee box repairs. I know they are waiting, but the grass is not coming back. If they were to fix this it would be a serious plus. The fairways and greens are in good shape.

Booked through GOLFNOW. Had an 11:30 Tee time but got out at 10 am. Great track. Greens in real good shape and FAST! Plenty of water and other challenges.

Me and two friends played Harmony Golf Preserve today. The first thing as that every tee box was bare! No grass they were in terrible shape. Every fairway was full of weeds. Fairway 11,13,14, 15 and parts of 16 had dead zones in them where it appeared that the sandhill cranes dug them up and the golf course never fixed the dead zones. they are mud patches. at least 40% of 13th and 14th fairway is mud and sand. There is no bunker rakes no beverage cart person? no amenities at all. You would expect more out of this course. It appears the management and grounds superintendent do not know what they are doing. The signs need repairing too much to list! Don't waist your money on this course!!!

Tee boxes are in horrible shape… fairways are rough in a lot of spots.. the one good thing was the greens…Not worth the price… As a resident I’ll play out there with the hot deals and that’s it.. better courses in the area and they match the price… If harmony dropped the price would get more people to play and probably could pay for some course repairs

Fairways and greens in great shape. Tee boxes in bad shape, need total re sodding. Golf rates are high compared to nearby courses in better shape.

More dirt than grass on the tee boxes. More weeds than grass on the fairways. Such a shame as the layout is fun and the greens roll true. So much potential but unfortunately it is garbage until you are putting.

Terrible condition! Most tee boxes are dirt, weeds and sand hill cranes destroyed the fairways and management does not care. I stated another local course (Royal St Cloud) does not have these issues... response was “ we have nicer carts”.
