Hemet Golf Club

I've been playing this course 2 - 3 times a month for about 4 years. The new owners are investing in improvements and it definitely shows. The greens have always been among the better greens in the area and now the fairways are showing a great deal of improvement. In the past some of the fairways were in poor condition but now they are starting to show the investment the owners are making in fertilizing, watering, etc. This course is one of the best values around for the money.

The manager and pro shop help was trying to tell us that we needed to share a cart with another person we didn’t know that booked the same tee time on golf now as us. We have no problem golfing with other but to have to share a cart is something I’ve never seen forced at any other course. They had ample cart to give the gentleman his own cart. Their stance in this was a huge vibe kill with having to start our day with an argument to get our own carts. We had three golfers and told our single would sharing with a stranger… no thanks . Won’t be back. Too many courses around to have to deal with strange rules like that. We told them we would get a refund on take out golf elsewhere so they gave us our own carts in the end but it was just annoying to have to deal with problems before getting out for the day.

If you want to be treated like a second class golfer for booking through GolfNow, this is your course. I’ve paid full rack price at this course on many occasions and never treated as poorly as I have been when purchasing through GolfNow. It’s just terrible! I let the pro shop know that I would no longer be a patron of their establishment.

Tee boxes are very bad only a few are in decent shape more than half the fairways are in terrible shape most sand traps are horrible with no sand a few have newer sand the greens are still in terrible shape after being airrated way too bumpy need green rolling and fertilizer hardy anyone fixies there ball marks on the greens it’s a real shame because this course could be fantastic with the right people running the course!!!

Great service and course was really nice. New carts really helped with distance because of the gps screen.

The layout of the holes are pretty nice. Bummer that the fairways have huge dirt patches throughout and the tee boxes are uneven. There were a couple fun holes though and the greens were pretty well maintained.

The driving range and other amenities were rough. But for $50 on a Holiday morning w/cart, it makes sense. The carts were nice - had GPS!

The value is there - but I would say paying $10 more to go to Menifee Lakes is the move.

Great course for the price. Challenging enough for all levels of golfers.

Was very pleased overall with my round today here. Was paired up with a pretty cool dude to play with. Conditions were great and pace of play was a breeze. They also have new awesome carts with state of the art gps screens which was nice. I like to play here a lot cause it’s pretty tucked away in the hemet hills with some nice views and the course layout is pretty challenging for me plus the fee is really affordable. Highly recommend

Many tee boxes are in terrible condition sand traps are very bad the fairways are coming along but still many are still bad hardly any grass on half the fairways but still a great layout the greens are in pretty good shape. But I really enjoy playing there

Course was in overall decent shape. Staff was super nice. I would definitely play this course again

People, facility, and New Carts with GPS were really good. The carts had automatic restricted areas coded in but many areas made no sense, even stopping in the middle of fairways etc. Liked the layout and pace of play, but the overall course is in medium to rough condition, but is not too unlike many courses today. My buddy had a coke and hot dog at the turn and seemed to enjoy it, so the food is good too. We hiked in from the coast, so will not play often but will be back to see how the course plays once the punched greens recover and the fairways have a little more even grass. Had an overall good experience and a good day! PS It got to 91 degrees but didn't really feel like it with a nice breezes.
