Played and payed as a single. Forced me to share a cart with someone I don’t know, nothing against the guy but requested to pay for my own cart for social distancing reasons. Denied at first by the manager himself stating “following county guidelines about outdoor activities.” No thermal screening or screening for symptoms prior to playing or sharing carts. Poor management. Still played great even though course conditions sucked with lots of seeding and fairway repairs. Book at your own risk.

Super friendly staff, great corse layout and a good test for any skill level. Great twilight price if you can handle the summer heat. Enjoyed my round of golf there.

Used to play this course all the time 10+ years ago. Then between the last 8 years we played once and said no more. The course had steadily declined to unplayable to the point it wasn’t fun.

Couple weeks ago, my brother and I decided to give it another try. Figured the greens had just finished the aeration maintenance, they may be the best they’ve been or there’s a chance they are at their best. Sure enough, they were absolutely great. Greens alone are worth the $30. round.

The tee boxes are flat but divot ridden from players not filling with the buckets provided. Tee boxes are not great but not horrible.

Fairways are in good shape. Dirt patches here and there but overall, not an issue. The rough wasn’t bad, definitely playable and not overwhelming. Not too many holes with water.

Now, every course has its negatives and for sure the inconsistency of the fairway/ green side bunkers are this courses down side. However, we went 5 straight holes seeing maintenance crews in green side bunkers so I’d say they are aware and working to improve.

So, overall, for a $30. round, the course was in surprisingly good shape. So much so, we played it 3 times in May and are scheduled to play this coming Saturday! In order I’ve shot an 84, 82, and a 77. All with the same ball. Learning the course and managing shots around the fun layout is steadily paying off.

Fun course to play. Lots of elevation and dog legs. Greens are huge and fast. Short course from the whites

Went out with a 3 some this morning. When we got there they put a single with us. Our third player explained to them he has severe PTSD and anxiety and wanted to ride in a separate cart from the single they paired us with. They said no, that they don’t do that on weekends . Needless to say our 3rd got his refund and left the course. If they can’t accommodate for veterans with disabilities this will be the last time our 3 some will be hitting Hemet Golf club.

Another concerned Veteran!

It’s been a while since I played this course but it looks decent some fairway are dry but the greens are in good.

This is a fantastically designed golf course that has sadly been allowed to fall into mediocre condition. The course is dry, grass is spotty and rough is well, rough. The bunkers are unplayable and multiple water hazards are as dry as the sahara. Somehow, the course is still fun to play. The greens are average. The pace of play is decent at 4+ hours on a Sunday. No marshal, no beverage cart. If you set you expectations, and don’t mind rolling your ball to find grass, you can still have fun here.

Nice course layout. Greens are awesome and fast. It’s a short course so play from blues if you’re a better player.
