Hemet Golf Club

Was not crowded due to aeration of greens. Had to play front nine twice. They reduced fees due to aerated greens but it was fine. Regular maintenance is good. The staff is always very friendly from clubhouse to cart attendants and starters. Keep up the good work.

This is a great value. I can usually get a "Hot Deal" for under $30. The real point is that it is better than most courses for $50 and more. The greens are better than many courses charging $75 and more! The fairways are improving and the course workers are putting in serious time and effort to block off and re-seed most of the bare spots. The fairways and tee boxes have needed attention for a long time and now they are getting it big time!!!

BTW, I've played over 50 courses in the last 3 years so I certainly have a lot to compare it to. Hats off to the course staff!

Course was set up nicely. We played the white tees The greens were smooth but a bit on the slow side.

- Tee boxes were excellent!

- Fairways were not bad but had of bare spots but the members I played with said that the are in the process of reseeding them!

Rough was ok but needs work to repair numerous large bare spots through hot the course!

Most of the bunkers we’re in good shape, about a 3rd of them had new sand and was told by my playing partners they are working of redoing all the bunkers and refilling them with new sand! From what I saw that looks to be true!

Greens were in good shape and look to be rolling about a 10!

Note Greens have a lot of contours in them which make them very hard to read!” Really need to play the course regularly to get a good understanding of how they break!

Worth the price; and recommend this course and will be bring my buddies with me!

I hit a near perfect bunker shot outta the new sand that's bring installed around the course. Best playing conditions since the '90's! Excellent Golfnow value!

Fairway grass was up to 8 inches tall is some spots and was muddy even though it hadn't rained.

For a public course with a reasonable price this is a great option. The layout is varied and unique with the most difficult holes being #9 and #18. Being a public course, the areas outside of the fairways and greens are what you would expect with bare spots etc. Greens and fairways are in good condition. The only truly negative aspect of this course is the bunkers. Like many courses during covid Hemet has neglected the sand traps. Most are a very hard collection of sand and silt. Play a wedge with minimal bounce at this course in the bunkers.

Golfing Buddy and I have played this course for many years and have enjoyed it. However this last round was a log jam to the point of us quitting on the 13th hole. We had to wait on every tee box at least 15 to 20 minutes from the 10th tee on to when we stopped playing. This was the first time ever so I hope the course will hire a Marshall to move the slow players on to a quicker pace. We'll be back and hopefully play will be back to normal.

Pace of play was a bit slow. Greens are in great shape. Need to put ball on Fairways. Little rough off the Fairways. Will definitely be back.

This courses fairways are very patchy and gofer hole riddled. The greens are very nice and tricky if very fun to put. But wouldn’t recommend for the amount you pay.

This course has some unique holes. Plenty of holes to challenge your ability to place balls. The course condition is a little ruff, needs some TLC. For the price it's not to bad compared to some other courses. I was told it has no wells and is dependent on city water. I remember playing there 15 years ago and there was water in all the pond areas now only on the 17th and 18th hold water. I would say the greens where good and rolling well. I do recommend playing hole 14 par 3 from the Black tee box up on the hill a much better view from up there.
