Hemet Golf Club

COVID 19 is on the rise, but the manager at Hemet Club doesn't care. I am immunocompromised. I needed a single cart for my own protection, especially since I have a spinal injection the following week. I paid the $15 they demanded, that's how important my continued health is to me. There were plenty of carts available and less than 20 players on the course. Over the last seven years, I've made friends with a handful of Club Staff employees. I will miss them, but I won't be playing here again. The manager's insistence on poor health guidelines and charging for a single cart reduces Hemet Club value to, "No Thanks,"

If you just want some fun and some practice this might be the course for you. Greens were recently punched and I couldn't really see where the fairway started and ended. I was just out with a friend and it was a last minute booking. Keep your expectations low.

Relatively new ownership has continued with improvements to fairways, greens and bunkers. Staff continue to provide excellent customer service.

Greens were punched recently so they’re still a bit bumpy. Greening up nicely though. Fairways were just aerated and seeding is continuing.

Some bunkers have real sand in them. Still need to fill the rest. Some trees still need trimming. But overall, efforts are underway to improve the course and green fees including cart are under $40.

Extensive improvements of the clubhouse would be beneficial. They have a general ABC license but no bar. There’s room for expanding dining areas and outdoor decks into a nice facility which could attract a lot of west side residents.

No warning from the booking or the golf course website that the greens had just been punched. Its a good deal, but I would have played somewhere else if I had known that the greens were punched.

Love the greens Tee boxes are in need of gopher control.

Always have loved this layout- to bad it has been so neglected-looks like current owner has no intention of doing much other than collecting green fees

Was not crowded due to aeration of greens. Had to play front nine twice. They reduced fees due to aerated greens but it was fine. Regular maintenance is good. The staff is always very friendly from clubhouse to cart attendants and starters. Keep up the good work.

This is a great value. I can usually get a "Hot Deal" for under $30. The real point is that it is better than most courses for $50 and more. The greens are better than many courses charging $75 and more! The fairways are improving and the course workers are putting in serious time and effort to block off and re-seed most of the bare spots. The fairways and tee boxes have needed attention for a long time and now they are getting it big time!!!

BTW, I've played over 50 courses in the last 3 years so I certainly have a lot to compare it to. Hats off to the course staff!

Course was set up nicely. We played the white tees The greens were smooth but a bit on the slow side.

- Tee boxes were excellent!

- Fairways were not bad but had of bare spots but the members I played with said that the are in the process of reseeding them!

Rough was ok but needs work to repair numerous large bare spots through hot the course!

Most of the bunkers we’re in good shape, about a 3rd of them had new sand and was told by my playing partners they are working of redoing all the bunkers and refilling them with new sand! From what I saw that looks to be true!

Greens were in good shape and look to be rolling about a 10!

Note Greens have a lot of contours in them which make them very hard to read!” Really need to play the course regularly to get a good understanding of how they break!

Worth the price; and recommend this course and will be bring my buddies with me!
