Nice course layout. Fairways were average condition. Greens were good.

This was our first time playing this course. It is a bit of a trek, but worth the travel time. The rates cant be beat and the layout was fun, but not extremely challenging. If the water features had water, the course would play much tougher. The course was in good condition. The greens were OK, but could use some help as there were some dead patches on a fee.

Ideal round of golf. Checked all the boxes for a fun day. An amazingly enjoyable environment for a great golfing experience!

"Hoss Cartwright" would be proud. What was originally called Landmark at Hemet Golf course was built on ranch land once owned by Dan Blocker, the actor that play the lovable gentle giant on the TV show Bonanza.

One sand trap on the back is shaped like the hat blocker wore on the show as a tribute to him. (this was told to me by a guy I was playing with from the area. I am from NC)

Now to the course.. Tee box, fairways and green were all fairshape. the place is under new ownership and they improvements are happening.

there are lots of bare areas on the sides of fairways and on some greens. The greens are a mixture of bentgrass and it appears poana. Some were smooth many a bit "bumpy".

The sandtraps were not sand but a hard bottom that looked like the "sand" had been removed.. hope they get they back to sand.

overall a good cost to value course which is on the upswing.. It's a good track with lots of unique features.

the hot dogs were epic.. combo was $7.50 with chips and drink a bit steep for sure.

I enjoyed the round especially with guys some locals that know the course which was VERY helpful.

We played on Friday at 11:30 and finished in just under 4 hours with a 3 some. Fairways were fair to good with very few bald/under repair areas. Greens overall in good shape rated at slow to medium. Work on drains in some traps but no worries as rakes out with Co-vid protocol in play. Actually good timing on all areas of repair with Summer coming. Snack shop pen for hot food and beer. Spectacular weather with 67 degrees plenty of sun and no wind. Friendly people from check-in, starter, snack shop and on course marshal. Clean carts, clean course that appears to be well managed. Frankly, it is an enjoyable course to play with a couple drivable par 4s for the youngsters, decent length par 3s and a couple of challenging par 5s. Play it once and you will go back for more.

Even though it had been raining alit in the last few days the course was in very good shape and not to wet and very nice and relaxing day on the course .

I was hoping that it would be pouring down, just before my Golfnow Hot Deal tee time. I'm not a fan of golf with a temperature high of 48°, not when it'll be sunny and 72° tomorrow, but Golfnow's cancellation terms suck! Still, I made the best of it, it's been mostly cold and cloudy today until I reached the 14th Hole. Ironically, the player I let play through a couple holes ago had a hole-in-one here, then the hail began and I found the widest tree to wait out the downpour.. Well, looks like the rain has moved on and I'm going to try and finish before the next deluge.

Greens are terrible. bumpy, slow, bare spots . Fairways have dirt spots, likely from burrowing animals. Looks like it used to be a nice place, but they are not taking care of it. I won't go again.

Always a great time at this course. Can't beat the price for what you get. Friendly staff, Pace of play is smooth even when busy. My go-to course in Temecula area. NO BOGEYS ALLOWED!

Hemet Golf club which I first played back in 2004 when it was Landmark has gone down with its course conditions but they understand they don’t need or can charge people huge amounts of money for what they got. $39 on a Saturday morning for a nice layout is very rare in the Inland Empire, other places are $50 or higher for courses that are complete garbage. Yes the greens need to be punched & rolled the fairways too, but you can see some maintenance being done with some tee boxes & GUR areas, lakes are low, driving range is kinda yucky but for the price Hemet is keeping it real knowing what they got, I’m sure the homeowners in the area have complained enough so no reason to pile it on. But I had a fantastic day in the sun made new friends & played really well. So there’s that...

Beautiful mature course winding through and around a neighborhood against the foothills. Lots of vertical, so a good workout to walk. Lot's of personality, but very poor maintenance. Fairways have bare dirt everywhere due to ground squirrels and the greens are just a disaster. Like putting on a bumpy wool carpet. Large bare spots on many of the greens. Greens need to be thatched, aeriated, and rolled. Should have done that during the Covid closure. Charged $30 to my playing partners with a cart. Charged me the same to walk mid-week senior rate. I will not be back.
