Hemet Golf Club

The greens on this course are better than most in the area for under $50. The tee boxes and fairways are a little worse than many others, The back nine is VERY nicely laid out compared to most courses in the area for under $75!

Having said all that...I LOVE this course for it's overall value and enjoyment.

This is a nice course. Fairways decent, green were just punched, so OK.

I forgot to say that the greens were aerated but not nearly enough sand was applied so the holes weren’t filled so the putts bounced all over the place! Because there is not enough sand to level the surface, this will be an ongoing problem.

I was able to get Green fees at $20 each with GolfPass hot deals plus some other discounts I had for my son and I yesterday but at $20 each I think that was even too much! The ground squirrel population is exploding out there and there are holes and mounds everywhere! This will ruin the golf course! These need to be controlled. Also the golf course wasn’t being mowed And weeds were blooming everywhere, even on the tee boxes. Yeah, the golf course is like a three out of 10. Not nearly enough maintenance being done on it. When it gets hot out there soon it will really be bad. Sorry to leave this poor review. I don’t like doing that.

The older man who was working the pro shop desk was a total jerk to me and my family. Me, my wife, my teenage son and our 4 year old along with our 4 month old all went to golf and was told by him that we needed to share a cart with a 4th person due to it being the weekend. I told him that wouldn't work with my family, that I needed to set the baby down next to me in my cart as there is no way to carry a baby in a car seat anywhere else. He berated us and I advised him we played like this 3 weeks ago. He replied, your lucky I wasn't here. It was him who checked us in last time as well. I almost left right there. Won't be coming back here, dudes too worried about a cart than taking care of a family of 5 who want to golf. Well take our money elsewhere.

The greens were aerated and sanded but not really much of an impact on putts. It wasn’t too crowded so we finished 18 holes in just over 3 hours. I like the layout here.

The clubhouse has improved with paint but the course doesn’t take advantage of its general ABC license.

The concession stand isn’t manned very often during the week. It’s pretty much a snack bar. They should build a real bar and expand the deck with shade structures. The cart path to the tenth hole could be easily moved a bit to allow for a larger patio area.

Got the Hot Deals price. Wasn't expecting much but course was surprisingly nice. Definitely worth trying and will go back. Lots of elevation changes and water made it a good challenge. Major negative is the bunkers were essentially hardpan sand.

Hemet GC is a very mediocre golf course. The layout is decent with some challenging holes. Also, the pace of play is actually quite good. But some of the fairways really need some TLC and you'll never find a beverage cart or marshall out there. Once you tee off on #1 it's essentially the Wild West. But for $38 on a weekend, you really can't beat the price. Sure, the course isn't in the greatest condition, but every other golf course is charging $75-$125 per round. Sure, they are nicer courses with better layouts, but you are also paying 2-3X more. So if you just want to hit some balls on a decent golf course, I would highly recommend Hemet. But if you are expecting a high class experience, then you may be disappointed.

A little rough on the edges but overall fun challenging course. Biggest drawback GPS on the carts kept stalling the cart even while driving close to cart path.

Course was in pretty tough condition. The greens are good and fast, fast, fast. Probably the best part of the course. The fairways were in pretty rough shape. Tee boxes meh. Some okay, some not. Had to play winter rules, or you would be constantly playing off sand. Traps were quite hard. If you hit into one there was a 70% chance the ball would bounce through. Certainly wouldn’t drive out of my way to play again, but you get what you pay for.

Course was fun but Tee boxes, fairways and greens need work. Pin placement were ridiculously hard. Great value for the money and fun over all.
