Small course, but very challenging
It’s not the greatest course in the Bay Area, but it is very challenging if you can’t hit the ball straight with accuracy. Lots of hazards to lose your ball, but that’s what makes it fun. It’s interesting to see all the lost golf balls in the bushes and water! Lol
First time. Great experience
I booked a round here because I usually just play my local course and wanted to try something new. I was pleasantly surprised and happy I tried a new course. I had a great time. I was paired with 2 others who were friends. They were a blast to play with and gave me some pointers as to where to aim since they have been here before. I can’t wait to get back out!
GOLF ELSEWHERE
Staff unfriendly and close early whenever they feel like it. The course is in absolute disarray. The ground miles have ruined the course completely. Holes everywhere. Terrible greens. Brown and dead and holey fairways. Overall this course would have to pay me to play there again. Save your time and money and just go to mission hills for a 9 hole.
Good potential
Course has great potential but the sand in the bunkers is rock hard, the course has a bit of a mess with branches, and greens get driven on with golf carts because there is never a Marshall. Very fun holes though and could be a great course if it was just taken care of a bit more.
Course
This course is poorly maintained and is full of squirrel . Hole 9 has at least 100 running around. I’ll play it again as it is low cost, but I don’t like it
Ground Squirrels & weeds in the greens
Ground squirrels have taken over this course. Also the greens are mostly weeds and not grass. I wouldn't play here again. Also, the clubhouse guy said I had to buy à bucket of range balls to use the practice green. That's lame. Overall the course is in terrible shape. Only benefit was No one cares, so you will likely be able to play the course twice without anyone noticing
Can't beat the price
Good practice course
Straight forward, 1 dogleg hole, alot of gopher holes. Average about an hour to play a round (9) pretty quick.
Do not waste your time or money.
Nothing about this place is worth bringing your money. Save yourself the waste and drive somewhere else.
Great For Beginner and Intermediate Golfers
This was my first time playing at this course, and it was a decent experience for only $25 for a 9-hole round. The scenery is spectacular on a clear day, with plenty of ducks, squirrels, and geese around. However, there seems to be an issue with badgers on the course that will steal your ball if it gets too close to their burrows.
The sand traps are not in great condition; they’re hard and resemble dirt rather than sand. If it weren't for my GPS app, I would have been lost trying to figure out what hole I was on, as the signs are covered in graffiti and stickers.
Overall, I had a great time playing at my own pace, and I will be back again!
Terrible course and rude staff
Skip this place if possible. I paid $50 with cart and I was the worse course I’ve played in. The fairways are rough and the greens are even worse.
Lots of potential, poor upkeep
This would be a great course and facility if they only invested in its upkeep. Good variety of holes and distances. A good challenge, but the fairways are in such poor condition - yesterday there was plenty of fairway that is just straight dirt. The signs don’t really match the tees/distances. Overall, I’d want to play here again but the poor upkeep will probably keep me away.
Surprisingly Challenging
Yes, the greens are patchy and the sand traps are rocky, but I was surprised how difficult the layout was for a 9 hole. Water in play frequently and doglegs make the course interesting if you want to use short irons and play them. I lost 3 balls, and my beginner partner probably lost one on every hole, so beginners beware! A good number of long holes.
