Greens were just punched!!
It would have been a nice decent act to alert golfers that all 18 greens were just punched, before we drove 30 minutes each way to Pleasanton.

No martial to control player pace. My tee time was 1:14pm and finished at 6:45pm. At back nine, most of holes have multiple groups waiting at tee box.

I play here fairly frequently. I've never understood why this course doesn't have a roaming beverage cart since the course is always packed. The drinking fountains don't contain cups which defeats the purpose.
Also, my biggest beef is pace of play. It took over five hours yesterday to play on a Wednesday afternoon. I've never seen a marshall. The threesome ahead of us were glacially slow but no one asked them to move along.
Weekend pace of play is over 5 to 6 hours which is ridiculous. Course layout, conditions and staff are great but pace of play is a real problem.

No longer the hidden gem
I love this course, but the pace of play is atrocious. There is no reason a Monday tee time should take 5.5+ to complete. We teed off at 2:18 and knew we were in for slow round when the back 9 had 3 groups waiting. We ended up calling it after completing hole 16 at 7 pm 💀
This course could use a cart person on weekdays. Slow rounds cause me to drink, so they would make a killing. Would also be nice to have the kitchen open beyond 5 as days are getting later.

Beautiful golf course
The course is in excellent shape except for some bunkers located on fairways of hole number #2 where there were muds/no sands. Other than that everything was great!

Nice layout. Pace was excellent(~2hr) for 1st 9 but significantly slower(~2.5hrs) at back 9.
