Chans revenge is that you have to tee it up in a barren wasteland. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

I didnt see in the yardage book that theres actually a hazard short of 10 green, I must've missed it. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

It's your "lucky day" at #12, advance up 150 yards from the tee, making this par 5 a poor excuse for a par 4, but do not pass go and do not collect 200 dollars Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

On #4 the bunker, the fairway, the greenside rough have combined forces to become one super bunker. Photo submitted by cbcruz305024 on 04/21/2017

Great Time
Great course, very well maintained. Outstanding views. Nice frendly staff had a good playing.
challenging course for all play abilities
Played this course many times. Fun course with interesting hole layouts. Front nine is mor challenging than back. Remember the whole front nine plays left to right slope on the fairway so keep left or you end up in the ravine. At the turn all they had ready were hotdogs and no brats were ready yet. Bummer. Cold beer at the turn though. Pro shop was emptied out and only had some shirts so. Hopefully you don't need last min items like tees and balls.
Great course
This course was in excellent shape, perfect fairways and greens....one of the most fun I've had on a course. I love it!
Great course for the money
Lots of character. A lot of different looking holes. Great value for the money!
Going downhill
Started off great, played the first four holes in 30 minutes....but then the pace slowed to a standstill. 10-15 minute wait on every teebox. Had to quit after 14 when there were 4 groups on #15....even after the fast start it would have been close to a 6 hour round. They did nothing to move it along. Very disappointing.
The course is in good condition
Course is in good condition overall.
Enjoyed playing.
Great Course, but . . .
I played 18 on 5/4 and 5/5/14
I really like this track. It is too bad that it is not better managed. There is no merchandise in the pro shop which makes it appear cheap and like it is going out of business!
They appear to be working on sprucing up the course, and it is in great shape. (new bridges and retaining walls) The driving range has been vastly improved, but, it is still a little hokey paying in the pro shop and getting a basket of bakes from a large trash can!
I sure hope they continue with the improvements and keep this course going for a long time.
Not what I expected based on other reviews.
We went on twilight hours so maybe the pace of play was faster with less traffic on the course. We were able to get in 18 in right at 4 hours. This course is challenging. It has very narrow fairways and most play angled so accuracy helps. I definitely lost a few balls but the course was exciting to play. Stock up on beer/food at the clubhouse. If they run carts we never saw them (again because of twilight hours perhaps). Overall this is a must play for folks looking for a tougher course. I did not experience any of the negative things I have read in other reviews and will definitively return soon!
Fun course
Decent course. Some tough holes and some easy ones.
Love the course, not a great day...
Greens still very rough and for $60, i expected those to be in better shape. Ball washers were not filled and the pace of play was below expectations. I really enjoy playing DC and most of the time, it's fantastic. I feel a bit slighted out of the gates this year and would have been ok had it not been as much as it was.
In addition, after our round, we decided to have cocktails, problem was they had no spirits in the bar!. F&B Manager needs a wake up call...that probably upset me more than anything.
I won't be back for a while unfortunately, will check again in June or July to see how things are going.
Not bad
Other reviews for this course had me worried, but it wasn't bad. I don't feel that this course needs to be in my regular rotation, but it was a decent round of golf. We used a golfnow deal for a Friday afternoon and paid $45 with cart. The greens were in great shape, the course was in decent condition for April, and the pace of play was excellent for a Friday afternoon. We finished in less than 4 hours.
The clubhouse was pretty bare, but I wasn't there to buy shirts and hats. And the course charges $10 for a large bucket of beat up range balls off of mats. Other than that, I enjoyed it more than playing a typical crowded muni on a Friday afternoon. Hopefully they can stay in business. I'll play it again later in the summer.
Front 9 is tight and will eat lots of balls if you're not driving it straight. The back runs through a neighborhood and is much more enjoyable.
Great Shape
The course was in great shape for this time of season. The staff is really friendly and cool. However it was backed up and took forever to finish 18.
Great Value
I don't think you can find a better deal around than this course for 30 bucks. A great little course, and very playable from the Silver tees for the average golfer. It's one of my favorites in the south west metro.
Challenging
On some holes you need to be accurate or you will be In the bunker or out of bounds. Distance control is a must on some holes. The greens are challenging but not too bad. It is very enjoyable course
NICE
FUN TO PLAY GOOD DEAL FOR THE PRICE. COURSE WAS A LITTLE WET
Nice Track
Course was in good shape, though very wet from snow melt, nothing they could do about that. Greens are pretty slow this time of year, hopefully better in the spring. Course has lots of character and lots of trouble lurking with the creek. Not for beginners.
Deer creek
For March 3rd the course was in good shape! I enjoyed myself!
Great links course.
Winter golf and all features were great for this time of year.
Reality Test
This was during winter golf, and that's the only reason the conditions were probably not a 5. the greens were still showing significant signs of recent aeration, and were probably some of the slowest I have played, very unpredictable.
Heard many good things about this course, mostly that it was very challenging, but fun. Gusts of wind up to 40mph didn't make the experience any easier, although it was a great day on the course, since most of the course was recessed below street level, so we didn't feel the wind, just noticed when perfect shots would blow out of bounds, or drop less than half the distance they were intended to go, and balls would shift on the green while being stood over.
I am looking forward to playing this course again when it's more calm, and would recommend it to any handicap under 18.
My favorite course
We love the course because it is not too crowded and is challenging enough to make it fun but not totally frustrating.
