Blue Mash Golf Course

Blue Mash gets a lot of play and sadly the course tells you that. Several fairways are just torn to pieces -- it doesn't help having several shorter par 4s where I imagine you get 1) more people in the fairway and 2) more people with short irons ripping up sod. And this leads to greens issues on those same holes, pitch marks galore. But apart from those issues, course conditions are largely positive.

The layout is terrific. A lot of links golf with a few large ponds thrown in and then a few holes on the back nine that retreat into the woods. So it's not purely 18 holes of flat and barren links play - the variety makes it fun. Their staff are tremendous and I also appreciate their graduated twilight pricing in the evening.

The course is beautiful and laid out in a very creative way that made every hole a lot of fun. Unfortunately, a lot of the fairways were in terrible condition. The greens weren't as bad, but definitely some fairways were basically unplayable.

A good test and a fair amount of variety. I would say it plays tougher than a 122 slope rating, as there are plenty of places to get in trouble if you're not careful. Both nines have a combination of wide open, linksy holes and those routed through the woods. The front has back-to-back short par 4's. There are some long par 3's on the back. Apart from the lengthy trek out to the first tee, this is a very walkable course, which is nice.

This course was awful. Conditions were something I would’ve expected at a $10-$15 course, certainly not $60. Fairways were about as much dead spots as there was grass. Greens were slow and hairy. Pace of play on a weekday afternoon was absolutely abysmal. Had to wait on every single shot and I was playing pretty slow myself with my wife who is still learning the game. Definitely will not be coming back to this course, would rather save some money and pay less for something of the same quality.

The condition of the course (particularly the fairways) was horrendous and deplorable! Blue Mash should be ashamed to charge $84 to play this course at any time, let alone in the afternoon.

I have played goat tracks in better conditions. Don’t waste your money, stay away ad play elsewhere. All courses in this area are in much, much better condition.

One of the better layouts in the area, but obviously gets heavy play. Divots not filled in and plenty of unrepaired ballmarks on the green. Shouldn't be waiting as the second group out. Relatively minor complaints though - will be back and highly recommended.

The course is always in good shape and it doesn't get as much play as some of the county owned courses so it is usually taken care of. The staff is excellent and the price is right.

Course is in great shape. Booked on a dealtime, I'm not sure I'd spend the full $94 to play. Pace of play was great for us playing in just under 4 hours, now the group behind did fall a few holes behind so perhaps pace of play depends on whos out there. No blind shots which is great.

Blue Mash is always a very good course. The greens were in excellent shape. The tee boxes were in good shape but lots of divots. The fairways were in great shape. The main problem I had with todays round was the pace of play. It was very slow today and I saw no marshalls on the course to speed things up.
