Our only complaint today was cart path only rule
Today we golfed 18 holes in very hot and humid conditions. Unfortunately we had cart path only rule due to rain the night before. We spent lots of time walking to our golf balls. Slowed the pace of play down. We would not go back and golf this course unless we could use golf carts without the cart path only rule.
Not kept up
The care of this course seems to be deteriorating over the years. More areas of brown grass and divots not fixed. It's a great layout with very friendly staff and all the amenities. Just wish they'd restore it to the way it was 10 years ago.
Not easy
The courses par 5 are not for beginners. If you play to relax. Avoid three par fives but the course is a good fair playable course
5 Hour Round?
No ranger out there. Slowest pace I’ve ever played. Three foursomes ahead of us should have picked up their balls. Waitting on tee boxes for 15 minutes. Then on the back nine there are singles and twosomes driving around, jumping from hole to hole. Ridiculous! Expect more from this course.
An enjoyable day.
While the weather was a bit warm, it was an enjoyable game.
Nice layout, Bunkers unplayable
Great design and layout but that's about it. "Sand" traps have mud, clay and ROCKS in them. Pace of play was terrible no rangers on course 5 hour round the day we played with a 9:10 T Times. Will certainly never go back but its a shame because with some money and maintenance this would be a decent place for the money. Very dissatisfied .
Whisper Creek
A very nice layout but the "sand" traps are basically unplayable. Rocks and clay are the best way to explain this situation. Too bad but with proper maintenance or more money this could be a great golf course. Pace of play which I was warned about was 4:45 with the group ahead of us more than a hole behind at the turn. Ask if a ranger would be out to get them back on pace naturally NO one showed up, they were a 3 some we were a 4 some totally ruined our round. I don't like being critical but hopefully this will help other players experience in the future.Wish I had pics of the bunkers. Never again.
Early Tee
Played Whisper Creek with an early Tee Off.
The course Fairways and Greens were in very good condition. The rough was tuff, it only added to the fun.
