Located just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, Coyote Run Golf Course is one of the area's best golf values. At just under 6,478 yards from the back tees, the course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer but gentle enough for less advanced players to approach with confidence. Each of the three tees offers a unique look and feel, providing plenty of variety. Water plays a prominent role on the golf course, coming into play on a total of 11 holes beginning with the opening hole. The tee shot on this par 4 requires a carry over water to a generous landing area. Careful course management and skillful approaches to the sloped greens are the key to doing well on this layout. Coyote Run G.C. also boasts a lighted driving range with grass tees and four target greens, practice putting and chipping greens, and even a three-hole practice course.

Incredibly rude staff. Horribly managed, backed up all morning long. They had a ranger sitting every 2 holes which is insane. What’s more ridiculous is that these guys did absolutely nothing to increase pace of play or push the groups in front of us to play faster. Course layout is awful forcing you to put your driver away on almost half of the par 4s. Overall this was a nightmare of a round and at that price is never worth going.
Gorgeous course- fix your divots golfers
Gorgeous course, maintained extremely well and great price. The common player just needs to learn to fix their divots but that’s not the courses fault
Putting Greens
Nice course Overall, but the putting greens were terrible, holes everywhere changing the direction of the ball on good putts towards the hole.... ...!!!!
Awesome Course
Had a great time playing here. Course was not overly difficult but still had some challenging holes and pin placements. Course was in perfect condition and the pace of play was outstanding for a public course. Finished 18 in just over four hours. Really enjoyed my experience here and will absolutely be back.
Exceptional Value
30 minute drive from downtown, well kept course (excellent greens for a public course) with fair rates and a very good bar / 19th hole attached. Would be an average $85 a round course, but its a steal for $65.
Course is manicured like a country club
Not a long course but nice layout nice size greens bunkers with sand in them tee box manicured just a well kept course great value for the money and very walkable staff very friendly
