Interesting course

The course is really unique. Front 9 above the quarry. Bottom 9 in the quarry. Tee times were 7 min apart which made for a 5 hr + round.

Great Course but way too slow!

Quarry Pines is a great course overall. It is generally in good condition, has a very interesting layout, and is quite challenging. The only real downside is the pace of play. I find that, due to the layout of a few holes, the t-times are too close together and thus things get really backed up when the course is full. I really like this course but do not enjoy a 5-hour round.

Painfully slow play

Overcrowded tee times created slow play 5.5 hour round. 3 groups on every par 3 ugh Back 9 was fun front is short and boring to play

Great course, Bad Managment.

Overloading tee times, so rounds take 5+ hrs. Get an early tee time if you want to finish.

That being said, the course was in good condition.

Quarry Pines pace

The 7 min. separation of tee times is too close together. We played in over 5 hours. No driving range and no cart deal is a turn off. We loved the course layout. V

SLOW Play

The course is fun to play and has good scenic holes. Although, the pace of play is slow. The send groups out ever 7 minutes. There are several drivable par fours and this back is the course. There was several times that the tee grounds had three groups on them. This happens often here at this course.

5 1/2 hour round.

Unique Experience

Quarry Pines is one of a kind. The layout and terrain are unlike anything you've seen. It was in very good condition considering the cold, wet weather we've had. Staff were professional and friendly. We were able to get the round completed in under 4 hours.

The only downsides are the lack of a practice range and the traffic noise on the front nine holes adjacent to the highway.

Exciting challenge

Bring a sense of humor and a lot of golf balls! This is a great layout, but if you hit the greens too hard, you will probably roll off and into deep brush. My only complaint is that the tee boxes have a lot of uneven stances, so take your time setting up. A very fun course that we look forward to playing again.

Lots of fun

Great day out on the course. The course was in great shape, a 4 hr round and friendly golfers that I played with. The back nine is very unique and challenging.

Beautiful Vistas

The front nine is OK, but the beautiful back nine is challenging. Hitting the fairway off the tee is essential.

Quarry pine

Was a beautiful day but pace of play was brutal….never saw a ranger. Front side was pretty ho-hum but back was fairly unique and scenic down in quarry. Finished in the dark because of slow play , especially #11 par 3 but so slow……4 groups waiting to play that hole
