Old Corkscrew Golf Club

Fantastic layout, greens are now amazing. What a great place to play for under $100! This is becoming my favorite course.

As always corkscrew didn’t let us down, course was a little beat up but we still enjoyed it and it is still one of our favorite courses to play.

Must play! Highly recommend. Hardest course in the area. Maybe even borderline unfair. But extremely fun if u like a challenge. A lot of palmettos lining the fairways. Be sure to bring enough golf balls. Keep your ball below the pin out here. Play to the wide spots in the fairways. Strategy is key out here. Conditions were good despite airefication holes , made it even harder but didn’t affect putts much. Will be back. 👌🏻

Nice course but not worth what they charged since plugged.should just charge the cart fee. So didn’t really play the course. Sure it’s a fun challenge when in good shape.

On arrival no one told us that the first 7 holes were being aerated completely across the fairways. The holes were the size of Dallas with the added misery of 100s of biting flying flies hitting you nonstop. Not a pleasant day especially for what we paid.

Most ALL of the ladies tee makers were right along with the mens - whomever placed them needs to take a biology class - totally wrong. Woman usually have only one tee marker - the men need to step back .

This was not our first time to play there - what a difference as well as a disappointment.

Save your money and play anywhere but there.

Course is in terrible shape. Greens and fairways have just been punched. Bunkers need sand.

Nice track in the outskirts of Estero. Course is very challenging but rewarding (if you score well). Get out during this off-season while the rates are low. You won’t find a better course at this price. Lots of nature and wildlife. A true Florida course. Golf it now to see if you want to become a member when it goes private!

As an aspiring professional trying to get my card. I absolutely loved this track!!! I don't get where the bad reviews came from. The course was in superb condition! I loved the layout and how you walk from the green directly to next tee on 13 of the holes! So for walking it doesn't get better than this! I would pay to play here 7days a week over any other courses I've played in the state of Florida. I played three other courses last week alone on golf now and not 1 of them could hold a candlestick to this course & paid more at the others.. So for the jokers that said this place was bad, im sure it was really your game.... Also, 1 last thing to add, THIS IS A JACK NICKLAUS SIGNATURE DESIGN .. Really should I say more! The Golden Bear/ GOAT designed this course! I will be booking here as many times a week as I can!

Thanks as well to your amazing and courteous staff y'all have there at Old Corkscrew! I would truly consider going fully private and not even allow jokers of the game to see your magnificent masterpiece you have hidden out there! Thanks again!

Expensive, but worth the money if you get a good deal, only nature, no houses around

We enjoyed this course a lot of hazards and definitely challenging. Course condition was very nice considering the current Florida draught. If you find yourself in the drink; heed to the wildlife alligators make it known they love it there. Overall fantastic time and we will return again!

The only reason for not giving 5 stars was a few greens were impacted with a fungus that the course is working to rectify. WE were informed when we were teeing off about the issue and should have been informed at time of booking. The good news is we just moved the ball around impacted areas (only a couple) and the course otherwise is PERFECT!!! We teed off at 9 am and no one in front of us or behind on a beautiful day and round. will DEFINITELY BE BACK!

We had a great day out at Corkscrew. The course is in much better shape now, and the layout is arguably one of the best in Southwest Florida. From the tips, it’s a tough but fair test of your game.

It’s always a treat to play a course in Florida without being surrounded by chimney pots, and Corkscrew absolutely delivers on that front. Each hole feels completely separate from the rest, offering a true sense of isolation and immersion—real “millionaire’s golf.”

We’ll definitely be back soon.

When we visit the area golfing always play Old Corkscrew as it’s a fabulous layout and possibly one of the most difficult but enjoyable courses to play. Played off the blue tees which is around 6,400 yards and it was more than playable. Tees and fairways were in excellent condition. However, the greens unfortunately not to the standard you’d expect from Old Corkscrew or other similar nearby courses. The greens have been subjected to some type of disease which has caused many of them to be patched. Not all greens are affected but those are being protected so when the others have recovered they will be okay. Overall it didn’t affect our enjoyment but we know the greens will recover soon. When back we’ll play Old Corkscrew again.
