About
Carved from forests of towering oaks and pines, Old Corkscrew Golf Club exhibits all of the superior characteristics that define Nicklaus Signature courses. The absence of houses around the golf course adds to the secluded and peaceful feel that is provided by the dense thickets of trees that surround it. Jack Nicklaus himself was a prominent presence throughout every phase of the course's construction, incorporating well balanced holes that vary in direction, look, and feel. Proper club selection will be greatly rewarded on this golf course. The fast-paced, undulating greens sit up to 20 feet above the lush, rolling fairways, which can create some tricky pin placements if you're not careful. Old Corkscrew Golf Club's fairways are rather generous, but they are framed by carefully sculpted bunkers. Several large ponds come into play on nearly every hole and there are also numerous sand traps strategically placed along the greensides.

Pace of play
Love the course and the design. Today we got behind 3 guys who played from the tips. They had no business playing from 7300+ yards. They really impacted pace of play. I’ll still go back. Love the course.
Great course, must play bucket list Jack Nicklaus design
Great, tough course. No homes just nature and gold. Highly recommended
Great course
From the minute I arrived I felt appreciated! Awesome course even after a ton of rain. I’ll be back for sure, this is a gem minus the pretentiousness of the area. Really a nice “bucket list” course.
Better than the snotty one
We played Triburon 2 days before and old corkscrew put it to shame! The course was challenging and the staff were friendly. We had a nice day and didn’t feel like leper’s will definitely play this more often when here.
Covid
Sad to enter pro shop with no mask requirements and carts not being clean and sanitized. This should be serious business!!

Best Greens in SWFL
First time playing Old Corkscrew, will not be the last. Course was in near perfect condition. The greens, although tough were by far the best I've rolled on in SWFL. The course is what you would expect from a high end private club, worth every penny!

Great day
played with my son today and we had a great time. Our round not so good but we both had some great holes thats why we keep playing. The course was in good condition. The greens need a couple of weeks.

Not in the greatest condition
I expect more out of this top tier course and have never seen the greens in this bad of shape.

My Favorite Public Course in Naples FL AREA
Even though my game was not on last winter, I very much enjoyed the course. I love northern Michigan courses and Old Cork Screw reminds me of northern Michigan even though it has Florida Vegetation and Palm trees. Most of my golf partners prefer flat and open, but I prefer interesting.
