About
Carved from forests of towering oaks and pines, Old Corkscrew Golf Club exhibits all of the superior characteristics that define Nicklaus Signature courses. The absence of houses around the golf course adds to the secluded and peaceful feel that is provided by the dense thickets of trees that surround it. Jack Nicklaus himself was a prominent presence throughout every phase of the course's construction, incorporating well balanced holes that vary in direction, look, and feel. Proper club selection will be greatly rewarded on this golf course. The fast-paced, undulating greens sit up to 20 feet above the lush, rolling fairways, which can create some tricky pin placements if you're not careful. Old Corkscrew Golf Club's fairways are rather generous, but they are framed by carefully sculpted bunkers. Several large ponds come into play on nearly every hole and there are also numerous sand traps strategically placed along the greensides.

Great value for a challenging course
Old Corkscrew is one of the most challenging public courses in the Fort Myers / Naples area. The course was in good condition and the pace of play was sensible.

Nicest hidden course on Gulf Coast
The price may give you sticker shock but the course is worth every cent. One of the most beautiful yet excruciating rounds I ever hope to play. Nicklaus had fun designing this monstrosity, there is no way to escape this course unscathed by the hazards. The fairway bunkers are magnificently and maliciously woven throughout. While the course isn’t doused in water, it’s leveraged to stress any golfer. Greens/Fairways/Tees maintained near perfection. The rides between holes are a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend.
Great Course
This was the first course I played in this area that did not have houses or condos on the holes. I loved it. The course is beautiful. The holes are long but fun. I played with three younger guys but kept up fine. I highly recommend you play this course. You will remember it. Look for Hot Deals on GolfNow. Enjoy !!!!

AAA+++ Great Course, Greater Staff
One of the more visually mind challenging courses you'll play but still fair. Great practice range, and Highly recommend hitting it before you go out. Needed a sports psychologist after the first 9 the first time I played it, but had troubles keeping it in play. Look forward to playing it every time I get down to Naples area. Secluded course with no houses on it, well maintained, with an Amazing staff of friendly, personable workers!!!

I’d compare this course to Pine Valley in NJ it’s a hard course from any of the tee boxes .
I got a great rate using the Golf now app . I would not play this course if I had to pay the normal rate . Too tough for a 22 handicapper like me .

Course was in good condition. Nice to hit from good lies often. Always a challenging course, but a great golf experience. Highly recommended for those that want a test of skills.

NON-MEMBERS BEWARE
DO NOT book a tee time until this course has figured out how to use their own reservation system. Unlike a previous review I never got a call in advance of my tee time, only a pre-payment charge that the pro shop couldn’t reimburse me for. They said the issue was with Golf Now and it should be taken up with them. Completely understand the cancellation given the circumstances, but they are handling it the WRONG way, in fact, they aren’t really handling it at all.

Never got to play
I was called 3 hours before my tee time and told they were closing to only members. I was a little put off by the fact that the gentleman told me he didn’t want us to drive all that way and only to be turned away. Then today I check on GolfNow and they are still selling tee times. We ended up booking at another course in the area that was happy to have us. I would hope the processing fee I was charged would be refunded. Thank you
