About
Lake Presidential Golf Club is one of Maryland's most popular public courses. It is a challenging championship layout that is player friendly enough to accommodate a wide range of skill levels. It stands out from run-of-the-mill municipal courses with exceptional conditions from the tees to the greens. The layout offers a diverse mix of holes that will have golfers using every club in their bag. There are some especially interesting par 3s that are visible but with enough hazards to make them a challenge. Houses border the front nine holes but they are absent on the back nine. The fairways on the last nine holes are densely lined with mature trees. The golf course finishes with an enjoyable par 5 that plays over a lake. It can be reached in two with a little skill and accuracy.

Slow Pace on a Weekday!
I saw a lot of reviews about 5-6 hour rounds and assumed it had to be weekend play. Monday (non-holiday) 10:30am tee time. 5 hour 25 minute round. We waited on every set of shots. Brutal. Tee times need to be changed from 9 minutes to 10-12 minutes. I won't play here again until I see an update to the scheduling. It really is a nice course that is ruined by terrible management.

No marshals keeping up the pace of play, which was miserable. Pretty much waited patiently on every single hole to teed it up
Good condition but pace of play sucked
Course is in great condition but as usual the pace of play sucked. 5.5 hour round and never once saw a ranger. Golf cart computer kept asking us to skip a hole even though we had to wait on every tee. Please get a darn ranger on the course.

Adam at the front desk was rude and refused to make it right.
A Great Afternoon of Golf
The course is in great shape and the aerated greens are growing in nicely. I played as a threesome and played under 4 hours.
overpriced and slow
I have played this course many times but they have hiked the price up to $99 (Sunday morning) and the condition did not warrant the extra money and was not as good as it used to be. year. for whatever reason, the pace of play is horrendous. there are a few hard holes but it took us 3 hours to play 9 holes. the marshal was sitting on the tee box with 3 groups waiting and did/said nothing to anyone. I went into the clubhouse after 9 and asked for a rain check for 9 holes. the response from the smarmy gentleman at the counter was "why, is it raining?". I will never play this course again. btw, range balls are not included and expensive also.
Great course, would play again!
Only complaint would be the bathrooms- could be cleaned . Was not a great environment for men or women. Other than that, course was great!

Best ive seen it in years..greens were cleaned up of all the divots no one seems to have the time to fix.. not a landmine field anymore
First Time Playing Lake Presidential
Greens were recently aerated, overall course conditions were good, pace of play could have been better. Will play again if I'm in the area.

5.5 hours to play 18 holes on a Tuesday need to put twosomes together and 5 cart paths only holes didn't help
