About
Lake Presidential Golf Club is one of Maryland's most popular public courses. It is a challenging championship layout that is player friendly enough to accommodate a wide range of skill levels. It stands out from run-of-the-mill municipal courses with exceptional conditions from the tees to the greens. The layout offers a diverse mix of holes that will have golfers using every club in their bag. There are some especially interesting par 3s that are visible but with enough hazards to make them a challenge. Houses border the front nine holes but they are absent on the back nine. The fairways on the last nine holes are densely lined with mature trees. The golf course finishes with an enjoyable par 5 that plays over a lake. It can be reached in two with a little skill and accuracy.

Great Day of Golf!
One of my favorite courses to play in the area. You have to carry from the Tee Boxes several holes and Lake P is a shot makers course. Great Track for the money!
Great course and pace of play surprisingly fast
I played twilight, teeing off at 5:10pm and paid $45 for the round. Pace of play at Lake Pres is typically very slow during busier times but we finished 18 holes in 3.5 hours. Probably because twilight on a Tuesday. The course was in great shape from tee to green. Pretty challenging course but fair. Will play again.
Challenging course
Well maintained and challenging course. Wet day made it even tougher but course held up well with all the rain, greens drained really nicely just a few puddles in the fairways. With a golf now hot deal it brought the price down to $65 which is fair price for a this solid course
Favorite Course Near Annapolis
I love Oak Creek, The Preserve @ Eisenhower, Hog Neck, and Enterprise....but I don't know something about this place. Hole 18 is particularly beautiful for a sunset round. Great value for what you're getting. Also they have a natural grass driving range which is wonderful.
Crab grass everywhere
There are many better courses in the area charging a similar price.
Starter
Course in great shape. Pace of play slow due to stater putting out groups wrong.
Bring A Book
Bring a book with you because you’ll be waiting for 10-15 mins on every hole. I played on a Thursday afternoon and we were backed up on every, single, hole. The tee times are way too close together and there are zero rangers. I won’t be playing here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone until they change the amount of tee times. Otherwise expect a 6 hour round
