About
Lake Presidential Golf Club is one of Maryland's most popular public courses. It is a challenging championship layout that is player friendly enough to accommodate a wide range of skill levels. It stands out from run-of-the-mill municipal courses with exceptional conditions from the tees to the greens. The layout offers a diverse mix of holes that will have golfers using every club in their bag. There are some especially interesting par 3s that are visible but with enough hazards to make them a challenge. Houses border the front nine holes but they are absent on the back nine. The fairways on the last nine holes are densely lined with mature trees. The golf course finishes with an enjoyable par 5 that plays over a lake. It can be reached in two with a little skill and accuracy.

What a waste of a great golf course.
This course could be one of the best in Maryland if it were managed better. I won't come back until I see enough reviews that they've fixed their pace of play. Its clear they have no respect for their customers as you can read in review after review. From them booking tee times 5 minutes apart, to the lack of any Marshall, to them regularly closing the clubhouse in the late afternoon so that anyone still out on the course will have no access to bathrooms, water, or a place to cool off in the summer. It just shows a pattern of behavior that maximizing profit will always trump customer experience. It's true that folks are often playing the wrong tee boxes here, or spending way too long looking for wayward balls, or even playing multiple tee balls while people wait behind them (yes I've watched this happen in front of me on hole after hole from the same golfer), ultimately its up to the course management to allow this sort of thing to take place. Clean it up Lake Presidential, you could be so much better than this.
Always the longest round
Makes no sense to spade out tee times 5 minutes apart, be cart path only , and NO Marshall
6 hour rounds of golf are not a good thing
A great on the links
The outing was well worth the cost, value aligned. Service was great.
Terribly slow play. Almost a six hour round. No marshall available to speed things up. Had to wait on carts for a 12:27 p.m. tee time. Golfers at this course have newer heard of a ball mark repairer.
Presidential lakes
The golf course was in spectacular condition. I teed off at 7:30 in the morning. The greens had been mowed and we’re in mint condition. A great value for the price to play this golf course. Was a fun track to play. I’m a six handicap and the golf course was very fair.
Worst experience ever
Worst experience on a golf course. Marshall was hounding us, and tried to make us tee off of ladies tees on 18. The group behind us was 2 holes back! I later found out the problem is with the head pro (Adam) and the Regional Manager (Chad).
