Lake Presidential Golf Club

Pres is a nice track. Staff in the shop is awesome. Really nice dudes. He mentioned the JUST punched as of 04/07 so heads up if you read this.

Fairways were nice, greens were very nice and they’re punching at the right time so it’s gonna be superb for the Spring.

Pace here is always a bit slow but it’s a tougher course for the area and plays a bit longer. Think we finished in 5 hours with a group infront of us dragging a bit. Get some cold beers and throw on some tunes - all will be good.

Easily a 6 hour round. Read the other reviews and figured maybe they were exaggerating. They were not. Not worth playing AT ALL.

Sunday morning 6:45am tee time and we're the first group off. 3 of us playing. We get to the turn after a fast front nine and there's a group teeing off on number 10. This is ridiculous and it slowed us down a lot. When those guys got to the turn, there was a huge backup on the first tee. It could all be avoided if they didn't let guys start on the back nine. Until Lake Pres management fixes this, there will always be a backup.

Was very impressed with this course. Not sure it is worth $120 tee time but will surely be back when I can get a deal.

I’ll say that this course has a lot of potential. The course itself is a very fun, challenging course, but golf is never fun when you’re waiting 5-10 minutes between shots and a round takes 5.5 hrs. On top of that, got delayed 49 minutes because groups ahead were slow to tee off. We were informed that the back 9 was wide open, but were told we couldn’t tee off from there. For the price, I’ll look elsewhere.

Considering the weather, mid-30s with little wind but cloudy, the course was in good condition. It was understandably, cart path only. The course is challenging but not overwhelming. We hope to return when the weather is good

Good condition for winter. Extra star for being open on Christmas.

The course was in good shape concidering the time of year. You just hope that people would repair their ball marks in the greens more often. There are some very soft spots in the faiways, but otherwise the course was in good shape.

This is a first for me in Usa 3 hour 2 ball round made the course much more fun. If only more people would let you through if they are slower , still have fun but let the golfers through.

Course was in decent shape but they don't use Marshall's. After 9 holes we were 3rd group sitting on 10th tee, 2 on tee box, 1 group on the green. 3 hours in we were just teeing off on 11.

Talk to the staff they say they send messages to control pace of play. EVERYBODY gets the message (attached) but nobody goes to the front to figure out the problem. I called the clubhouse and asked them to drive through to find the slow group. They said they would but never saw anyone. Clearly messages don’t work, you need to go out and MOVE a group if they are behind.

Attached: Here is how slow our round is and we are a 3 some right on top of group in front. We received these messages starting on Hole 6.

Also, the carts randomly stop on the cart path telling you you’re in a restricted area (Their GPS system to keep you off certain parts of the course is poorly configured)
