Lake Presidential Golf Club

The starter allowed 2 groups to start play on hole 1 when the course had everyone starting their round on hole10. This caused such a bad stoppage in play on the back nine that we couldn't finish our round. (Only finished 15 holes). Very disappointed because it could have been avoided if the starter reminded groups 10 was the starting hole and/or they removed the groups who started on the wrong hole. Course staff should have offered a gift card or some compensation for their mistake.

The course conditions was near perfect and I didn't lot of leaves on the fairways on Mid-Nov. The layout was very challenging with some winds. Staffs was very friendly. Unfortunately it was a cart path only.. it took about 5 hours to play.

I'm an average golfer and found this course very challenging. Many of the tee shots require you to really hit your target area in the fairway ( I didn't) or you'll be working to get a bogey. The rough was, well, rough even when you only missed the fairway by 3 yards. Course is in beautiful condition. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Course is short and challenging. It is through 3 neighborhoods, alot of driving to get from hole to hole. Nothing was wide open, no hole to let the driver go

At this price, it was certainly a bargain. It's a very nice course

The grass crew got out very late to start blowing the grass clippings from the fairways. This made it difficult to in many cases find your golf ball and when you found it it was covered in grass! Also there were very few yardage markers. On one or two holes there were 150 poles in the fairway. On most holes there were no markings at all not even on the cart path! The round would’ve been nicer if I knew how far away I was from the green to use the crack club. Also the greens were a little better in places. I don’t know that one refreshment cart girl for the entire course is enough… Hire a second person at least!.

The conditions at this course have gone downhill even though prices haven't changed. Here is a list of what went wrong:

- within 15 minutes of receiving our cart, it died and had to be replaced

- most tee boxes were mud and had no grass on them

- the ground on tee boxes was not level - in some cases, the ball was 1 inch above my feet

- too many leaves on the course - we wasted probably 30 minutes throughout the round looking for balls that landed on the fairway!

- a couple of the greens had patches with no grass, only mud

These conditions are NOT worth even close to 95 dollars. Please either maintain the course to the level it used to be, or drop prices!

9 holes we played were amazing. First time playing the course. Course is challenging but fair. However the pace of play ruined the experience. Took our group of three, 3 1/2 hours to play 9 holes. Didn't get a chance to play the back nine which is a shame.

Course was in great shape compared to many area courses at this time. Green has been punched but it was advertised on the Golfnow page. Overall great experience!

The course has a very good layout with five sets of tees to play from.

Fairways were in excellent condition, tee boxes need some grass and the greens were extremely slow due to recent aeration.

It would have been nice if the price was lowered because of the aeration. When I booked online it was noted that the course aerated the greens twelve days prior.

Our cart had a tire blowout and after a call to the pro shop, we quickly had another cart.

I enjoyed the course.

This design of this course is great and makes it a very challenging course. It is also usually well kept and in great condition. However, what really made me give a poor rating was the pace of play. It took 3 hours and 15 minutes to play 9 holes. This is absolutely ridiculous. There was no Marshal in sight and no one to tell people that they were way behind on the pace. Also, the worst part was that it continued onto the back 9. I only played 12 holes and left because I couldn’t take it anymore. Hopefully they fix this problem for the future.

My father in law and I got a great deal for this course that we have wanted to play for a while. When we got there we figured out why. The greens were aerated a week ago. No big deal since it's absolutely necessary and we were able to get on with no problems and try out the course for the first time. The course itself is beautiful. The fairways were in great shape and the tee boxes are were too. Around 6-7 non par 3's were CPO which cause a bit of a strain on my 75 year old father in laws' knees and ankles since most of the course has varying elevations. The course is very challenging, The other two-some we were playing with kept saying it was designed and layed out for single handicappers. I'm around a 20 and I scored a 110. Accuracy is key as fairways get narrow, sand traps are placed at common drive distances, and there are several water hazards. All in all it was a great day and we were very happy we got a chance to play here.

I loved the layout but the tee boxes and I mean almost all of them were in terrible shape. Pace of play was pretty slow. I’ll try this place out during the peak of summer to see if there’s a difference.
