Mission Royale Golf Club

My second time playing this course. Conditions were great. Everyone is always friendly. I was paired up with a group from Canada. Super nice guys. Played the back 9 solo. I will definitely be back!

Course was in good shape and the greens and fairways were in well maintained condition. A few greens are still recovering from the overseeding process but still in playable condition.

First off, the staff clearly behaves as if the course is a TPC, top 10 destination; which couldn't be further from the truth. Greens were terribly inconsistent. Now in all honesty they had only been open a few days after overseed but I play plenty this time of year and all greens are shaggy for sure but this place is way worse. Bumpy, one green would run very fast the very next one as if putting on sand. Even at a discount I'm not sure I would ever want to play here again.

Greeted by super friendly staff. We were able to tee off earlier than our actual tee time which was great because the temperature was rapidly rising to 102.

Had to play cart path only as the course was just opening up after overseeding.

Even with having to walk a little, we still played 9 in about 1 1/2 hours.

The heat was getting to my playing partner so we didn't finish the second 9.

Will return for sure!

Course was very dry as they were getting ready to overseed. Will play again.

Really enjoyed playing this course. Little dry (preparing for overseed I assume). Had a great time, looking forward to playing this course again.

I picked probably the worse time to try this place. The course is getting ready for over-seeding Oct 1st. Everything is cut thin. Tees through the green are all dry and baked. Sand traps are just traps that are hard baked dry pan. The course is not very difficult, but it seems kind of tight with houses close on a few holes. It is pretty much straightaway fairways, no doglegs or any trouble. Only two holes have water, 16 and 17. I got stuck behind 2 very slow 4-somes They would not let me play through even though there were open holes in front of them and they were painfully slow and oblivious to anyone else. I got to watch them hit shots into houses, spray balls out of bounds and witness their bizarre pre-shot routine of wiggle waggle and drag the club side to side in front of the ball like they were sawing a log. (No idea what this was for.) Pretty much killed my day.

I enjoy my golfing at this couse everything I ply there. 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️⛳️⛳️

The markings are in the middle of the fairway and hard or impossible to find.

I had a 10:08 tee time off the “hot deal”. I showed up at 9:00 and when I checked in the girl at the Pro sHop said 3 to 4 times that you can tee off at 10:08. There was one other golfer with the same hot deal. He asked why can’t we tee off. The course was empty and wide open. I saw a guy driving around in a cart and figured he may work there. So, I asked him why is she telling us to tee off at 10:08. He obviously white lied and said the guys we working in sprinklers. We’ll ok then. The girl came out of the pro shop and I asked her why we couldn’t tee off and that the tee box has been wide open since I arrived. She replied because you bought the hot deal and you can’t tee off till 10:08. I was absolutely flabbergasted. A wide open course and I’m being punished because of purchasing a good deal? I drove from Gilbert. I told the woman that I buy hot deals when they are available and I have never had a course penalize me and MAKE ME WAIT. So, a horrible customer experience for me and the guy I paired up with. It Franscico Grande moving forward for me.

PLEASE use common sense and logic in the future
